Draw = Death?
Must've been a re-rematch.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Honestly, just powering through is kinda Goku's thing.
I mean, first he figures out your techniques, then he shows his kung fu is stronger. Once he's got your number, nothing else really works.
This is why you just gotta wreck his shit lightning quick, before he either gets lucky, or lasts long enough to start tearing through your strategies like a Joestar backed into a corner.
...or, and remember to Double Tap. Always Double Tap. Never assume Goku is dead until you see a hole in the body, or you remove his head, otherwise you'll be seeing him again.
...or hope he gets a heart disease, because living in Trunks' universe is WAS suffering.
So I just had two dark thoughts:
So many have tried, so many have failed, but I have to wonder:
1) What do you think is the best way to actually kill Goku;
2) Of all the plans or attempts to kill Goku from every character who's either wanted to do so, or tried, if you removed Goku's uncanny dumb luck, who do you think would have pulled it off?
Oddly enough, I'm calling Pilaf the darkhorse on this one. The story of Dragonball would have ended early if his plan had worked, and rest assured, it took a completely out of nowhere situation (that borders on an in universe Ass Pull) for him and his buddies to not die.
Nobody has come as close as Pilaf.
One Strip! One Strip!Bit of a My Hero Academia X Dragon Ball tidbit:
According to Kohei Horikoshi
(the creator of Hero Aca) during yesterday's San Diego panel, All-Might's supportive role is based off Goku of all people.
Horikoshi: “No, not anyone in real life. I based him on Goku in Dragon Ball.”
Nice to see what part of the fandom he resides in.
Toriyama tried that, and then changed his mind.
I'm pretty sure he just wants to write Goku forever now.
But then again, I don't think there's anyone more biased towards Toriyama than me, so feel free to say I'm totally full of shit.
P.S: Everyone who says Rob is full of shit will be sued to oblivion.
One Strip! One Strip!I could buy that.
Am I happy with the emphasis on Goku's selfishness and lack of connection to his family? No.
But beyond that, he's a pretty nice guy who's always there to help his buddies (or random strangers, which is pretty heroic for someone who's not a hero....Toriyama), and has been a positive influence on even his enemies.
One Strip! One Strip!Karrot would make such a good teacher.
He could teach Pan how to read the same way Turtle hermit taught him, with an ecchi manga...

Didn't he still lose?
