Anime Ajay breaks down Broly and Paragus' design sheets.
I really like Paragus' new design, especially with how old he is. He rocks that dress surprisingly well, and I love the tip of his tail poking out of the bottom. I'm curious how much of Broly's old backstory is staying for New!Broly, especially since the control collar and Paragus are involved. I honestly wasn't expecting either of them to be part of New!Broly's story, so it makes me wonder how much was really changed.
They should just keep Broly's old background & remove the petty crying part. Although this post gave me more perspective on that.
But then again it never bother me to begin with
Paragus's new design is eon better than his old one.
I don't think more forms is bad. I think unnessecary and poorly executed forms are bad, and that's what Godly SS and Blue 2+ sound like to me.
Keeping the Godly base is just confusing, it'd only work if the older forms were phased out like Toriyama's interviews and RF implied would happen. And if this Godly SS is a visually distinct form, then it's not really what Goku did against Beerus. That's Goku getting a new form, then in the same fight getting another new form out of nowhere, both of which are upstaged by another new form in the very next arc. Going from God to Blue was already something many people question.
I do like doing something more with Trunks' form, if it is to be kept at all. I'm on the fence but I lean toward having it so it can be tied into Vegeta's power up against Beerus (since its hard to plot BOG without that) - 'rage' is powerful, but only a temporary power-up that completely exhausts the user. Rewatching the Black arc Trunks pretty much only transformed in short bursts anyway. I'd even tie that into Kale's transformations (gaining some sort of stable form) and Gohan's potential but it looks like the Broly movie might expand on the buff form and make it incompatible with that.
Anyway, new transformations don't always add depth. They can also take it away, by reducing the focus in individual forms and diluting their importance as new forms are introduced.
I know you wanted Blue 3 as well, but that doesn't work to me. The minute Blue 2 is a thing, it becomes too obvious that Blue 3 is a thing so drawing out that reveal makes it lackluster. Vegeta would just be working to obtain old transformations, and it makes the recolour issue worse as Blue loses any differences it had from the original SS 1.
x5 The way I would do it, Goku and Vegeta would essentially have two modes:
Base: Kaioken, Super Saiyan, SS 2, SS 3
Godly Base: Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, SSB 2, SSB 3 (Goku doesn't use SSB 2 and SSB 3, instead opting for Kaioken in SSB 1)
Godly Super Saiyan would be an incomplete Super Saiyan Blue, more akin to False Super Saiyan: stronger than SSG but unstable and with downsides. It's not like this is introducing any less new forms than Z did, since the Grades aren't even being touched. Also, SSB 2 and 3 wouldn't have the same changes SS 2 and 3 do.
Unrelated question: has teen Goku ever been included in a video game with a different model than adult Goku? I know sometimes games just have an adult Goku model with teen Goku's moves, but that doesn't quite work. As the first Super ending shows
, teen Goku is significantly shorter and lankier than adult Goku. This is supported by comparing him to Tenshinhan, who towers over him in the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai but is only slightly taller in Z.

Teen Goku has never been used in any modern DB game. He's probably in a couple of old famicom games, but none that I remember. Xenoverse does have a version of Adult Goku with some of Teen Goku's attacks, and I remember 1 version of Goku in Tenkaichi that had that one meteor-kamehameha-rush attack he used on Piccolo.
If they were to make a Teen Goku in Xenoverse 3, they could make him shoulder height to Adult Goku and give him the following attacks:
- Kamehameha
- Kamehameha Boost
- Feet Kamehameha
- Afterimage Strike
- Super Kamehameha (Ultimate)
- Meteor Combination (Ultimate)
- Power Pole Pro (Transformation)
- Turn Retreat (Evasive)

One theory I've always found intriguing is that Saiyans have two different puberties, and the times for those puberties vary drastically. Goten and Trunks are short because they haven't had either, while Gohan was going through his first after the HTC training. Goku had his first training with Kami and his second before Z. Vegeta had his second puberty late, sometime around when the artstyle changed to draw him taller, so around Namek.

GOD, I want a Just Dance Dragon Ball spin-off game! It'd be so dang fun! Not like there'd be any lack of material, either, considering all the dancing that happens in this show. Roshi and Goku's impromptu duet before their battle, all the posing the Ginyu Force, Gohan, and the Pride Troopers do, the Elder Kaioshin dance, and even Vegeta's bingo dance. You could have various martial arts moves be turned into dance moves fairly easily.

To put it in terms I'll understand better, SSB Vegetto and Beerus were both noticeably stronger than Fused Zamasu and MSSB Vegeta, but not so much so that the weaker party couldn't even fight them. Manga Kale seems to be stronger than MSSB Goku, so she should already be fairly close in power to the Gods of Destrction. Adding Potara onto that seems like absurd overkill, and should logically make Kafla stronger than the Gods of Destruction.
