I think it's important to note that canon in Japan is treated way differently than canon in the west- where it matters way less over there.
Anyway I think Broly being introduced to the canon is hilarious. I always liked him so this has me excited too. Though i'm not entirely sure how I feel about the movies being firmly non-canon since they slid into canon pretty well already.
Shame that Beerus is apparently getting worfed

Why would he want too?
Let’s be real here, Beerus deserves it if he’s really gonna die.
I like the cat but the bastard has had it coming for a long time for being a self-satisfying bully only concerned with stuffing his face & sleeping while the universe he is supposed to protect deteriorated into a complete mess.
If Broly is the one to do it then all the more better because his death won’t even be a dignified one.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Did some repair on that for you. No need to thank me...or you could just roll your eyes. That's also a fair reaction.
Apparently not since:
Of that. That being said, how quickly does this inactivity take effect? If there's a moment between when it becomes official and when Beerus dies, then Whis might be able to do the time warp again before he shuts down.
Or more logically Whis turns back time before Beerus completely dies, then replays the scene to fake his death. We'll have to see how it goes down.

One Strip! One Strip!
Read the previous page.
The official voice and staff list is up
:
- Confirming [Kid] Trunks (Takeshi Kusao) and Aya Hisakawa's Bulma (listed as "Unknown", but it's a fair guess considering she voiced Bulma in a modern commercial
since Hiromi Tsuru's passing.)
- Bin Shimada reprising his role as
DyspoBroli. - Katsuhisa Hōki
playing an unknown character (though he has played Paragus
in some video games).
- Norihito Sumitomo returning as the lead composer for the soundtrack, as usual since his tenure on Bo G, RF, Kai, and Super.

The latest movie, imaginatively named "Dragon Ball Super: Broly", has Broly play the villain.

The reason "canon" has meaning here is because Broly detractors have been lording over that for years, so it's kind of a middle finger for him to officially be apart of the main series.
Yes, it's stupid and makes no sense, but then that's 90% of the internet Dragon Ball fandom.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
