Hypothetically?
The Loser Squad (Tien, Krillin, 18, ect.) vs. Haze.
Trunks vs. Rage, with Bulma there. She's mother to both of them, after all.
Uub vs. Oceanus.
Gohan and Pan vs. Naturon.
Goku and Vegeta vs. Nuova and Eis respectively, crosses over when Eis tries to ditch Vegeta and fuck with Goku's duel. And then Syn shows up regardless.
Silly Rob, everybody becomes part of the Loser Squad when they're not a Saiyan. At best they can temporarily escape the epicenter with a bullshit power-up, like Piccolo and Uub, but they passed the event horizon a long time ago and inevitably get sucked back.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! The Loser Squad should consist of Tien, Yamcha, and Roshi, Goten should fight Rage with Trunks, and Krillan and 18 join Uub against Oceanus.
EDIT: Wait, completely forgot Piccolo! Joins Gohan and Pan against Naturon.

DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!This is the exact premise I thought of for how I'd rewrite GT (actually, I started thinking about that again very recently). My divisions were
- Haze - Pan, Bra, Giru. Pan is the muscle and Bra/Giru figure out Haze's weakness.
- Rage - Goten & Trunks/Gotenks
- Naturon - Oob
- Oceanus - Gohan
- Nuova - Goku
- Eis - Has a similar role with Goku until the cheap shot and then Vegeta to the rescue
- Syn - has a similar role, maybe fights Vegeta earlier
There's really no need to get the humans involved when the active cast is already large enough to cover the dragons and they've been completely retired at this point.

Ah shit I thought it was Rage who did that (hence Goten/Trunks). I'd probably swap those then.
Swapping Gohan and Oob around and adding Pan to the Naturon fight would also work (after beating Haze), but I don't want Pan being used as a damsel as she was so often in GT.
Maybe I'd complicate things more by having characters get involved in each others' fights so things aren't so evenly distributed.
Also, I did think of a purpose for the loser squads - they could go after Syn and Eis originally, and one loser squad could take the place of Pan as a hostage in Goku vs Eis.
I've been thinking lately that I want to actually start writing my GT rewrite idea.

Keep the dragons, but re-work aspects of them.
Connecting them to individual wishes doesn't make sense with the number of wishes that have been made with them. And honestly, it's not that important beyond the gag with Oceanus.
I tried tying it to the times Shenron was summoned to account for multi-wishes, but it is still too many.
So instead I grouped together any wishes made in the same year (ignoring the RRA plothole). God's Shenron has had two occasions where circumstances allowed it to be re-used before a full year is up - when God revives Shenron, and when God is revived in the Namek arc.
That leaves us with 6 Shadow Dragons, so it just takes one more set of wishes in the plot of GT to give us 7. Then, they'd be arranged according to the strength of the dragon - the sets of 3 wishes in one year create the strongest dragons, 2 in one year is mid tier, and the weakest are born from 1 wish.
I think I'd do Goten/Trunks vs Rage and have Trunks be the one absorbed so Goten has to fight without fusion and to balance against Trunks having more focus earlier in the series.

Goten sure could use that huh. Poor guy got hit hard with the sidekick stick, just like Puar and Chiaotzu before him.
Sure, he's more notable, but you could argue Puar's done more than him. And Chiaotzu is a complete non issue.
One Strip! One Strip!

Hey, suppose you were redoing the Shadow Dragons saga so that the entire cast got involved in the fights instead of just Goku (with occasional Pan assist). Say that it's super time sensitive or something and we need to split up. Which characters would you have fight which dragon?
