Like, I don't care if anyone likes Roshi more than Goten and Trunks. What I'm objecting to is the "No, it totally makes sense and is logical for (and Tien, Krillin) to get spotlight, but not them."
It's okay to enjoy pandering, just acknowledge that's what it is. And also acknowledge that there are legitimate reasons other people wouldn't enjoy it.

I for one want more Trunks & Goten because its wasting their potential.
Roshi is an old-ass motherfucker retired & done with life, content to sit around all day smoking & watching porn. All his potential has been used up.
Trunks & Goten are children with their entire futures ahead of them with all the potential in the world. You can do anything with them.

I voted for キテラ because nobody will expect it.
Seems good, though he was in the top 10 last time.

Master Roshi should bribe Buu into taking the form of Jackie, jump kick Goku, and run away shouting how he'll see him at the next tournament
Forever liveblogging the Avengers...
Considering the thing with Beerus dressing up as Monaka, that'd probably work.
Well, in the anime at least. Not sure if Goku is THAT dumb in the manga. I mean, I bet he would be if Toriyama thought it'd be funny enough, but until it happens, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
One Strip! One Strip!![]()
I originally included him, bu I forgot whether or not we actually saw him get eliminated. Turns out we did not.
Dr. Rota: U6 red pig who is a doctor, Monna: U4 Cabba's main opponent, could turn into a gigantic ball, Viara: U3 big robot whom 17 and 18 wore down with sustained blasts, Narirama: U3 big robot with suction cup arms, first robot we saw of U3, Lilibeu: U10 blue butterfly-winged member of U10, Caway: U4 energy construct girl who surrendered against Roshi, Majora: U4 blind fox who fought Krillin, Harmila: U2 sniper guy who fought Tenshinhan, and Vikal: U2 girl who looks like a magical girl villain with wings.

Oh yeah, general thoughts on the chapter:
The gags were funny here. I really like 18's expression when she turns around to see who Ribrianne is calling ugly.
I also like Ribrianne thinking Kuririn is super hot and having a different standard of beauty over just being an obnoxious, awful person (and hypocrite). Obviously she's still a shallow person here, but it's a good reversal and Beerus thinking she's pretty cute is a nice touch.
As I mentioned before, I think the hidden fighter aspect was handled better, and the eliminations are being spread out a bit more for the other universes. It was probably overkill for Gakiramis to eliminate all 3 fireballs (I think it'd be good to have 18 eliminate Rib and then threaten Rozie and Kakunsa) but 18 already decisively beat the bunch so it works.
I'm more disappointed that 17 has had so much this early on. We know he's going to be a big player and stay in from Toriyama's draft, so he doesn't need to be so prominent this early in the tournament. It'd be nice if 18 and Piccolo had had a share of his earlier focus to have a bit more to do.
Still, that's clearly an issue above Toyotarou with how pushed 17 is being.
Also disappointed that Vegeta's dialogue with Toppo/Dyspo is almost identical to the anime. It feels like real character regression and appearing in both versions makes me think it's part of the outline. I can't imagine why Toriyama would be so specific about such a thing, though. Maybe Toyotarou just liked that from the anime.
I'm still very interested on what will happen with the pride troopers, since they're still all in. Since they didn't do much in the anime, it could have been very effective to have the U 4 hidden fighters knock some out, but maybe Toyotarou has something specific planned for them.

So because they lose interest in fighting in the future (that hasn't happened yet, and might not even be the same) it's fine not to use them, but Roshi who retired years ago and shouldn't realistically be of any use, should fight and still be the wise mentor?
