Wait?
18 is out? Isn't Roshi supposed to be the next one eliminated?
Edit: Also, there's this new vid by Masako about a long discussed topic:
Edit 2:
Sorry about that.

One Strip! One Strip!
We still don't know, but there is a (blurry) headcount panel
◊ of the remaining fighters for proof. Speaking of, I've updated my existing post with new comic panels and minor corrections, but the main spoilers are still the same and confirmed to be real.
Oh, you're within the recruitment section of the Universe Survival Saga.

I don't recall if it was discussed here, but a legendary effects animator, Takashi Hashimoto, best known for his work on Your Name, among others like Evangelion and some Ghibli movies, has joined the staff for the new Dragon Ball Super movie.
Here are Anime Ajay's thoughts on it (skip 1:44-2:02 to avoid spoilers for Your Name, also go watch it if you haven't already, the movie is a masterpiece):
Watching this episode now.
Disappointed that Black and Zamasu merging is given away in the title. It's rather annoying.
Edit: And as lame of the random Zamasu clones were, I wonder if this was something in Toriyama's notes and Toei and Toyotarou just did their own interpretations of it.
...no, that's probably not it. It's just bad filler.

One Strip! One Strip! The Cartoon Cipher, an analytical duo informatively discussing anime dubs and subs, recently posted a 20 min video discussing Sean Schemmel's gradual evolution of his Goku Black (and Rose transformation) vocal performance.
Despite some rough patches in Sean's communication of how he'll tackle things for the Super dub, the duo agrees that Sean did improve in ways that mostly remain logically consistent for the dub, and even its Japanese original.
So do the clones and the sycthe feel like they were the moment where Black became a villain sue. Like it always seemed to me that it would have been more natural to have Black get a little stronger but just have Vegeta power through with him saying something like, "You think your anger at losing a simple sparing match even begins to compare to mine after all the crap you've done in the name of your worthless justice" It feels like continuing to lose even after powering up through anger would have worked better as a reason for why Black decides to fuse with Zamasu.
Edit: Also did it seem like they made Black a bit to powerful. Like he ended up crossing in to Deus ex Machina territory for his defeat.

It really was just bad filler to justify Goku and Vegeta not rushing to help save Bulma Trunks and Man, so that Trunks would be able to use the Mafuuba...which failed because of Goku.
So in other words it was a massive waste of time, so screw the clones.
Plus, we've never seen anyone shape Ki like that before, but maybe the whole God in mortal body thing lets him do shit Goku wouldn't normally be capable of.
One Strip! One Strip! He fought Vegeta with it after the big dimension slice, but we only saw like one frame of that before it cut away, and then later cut back to clone time.
The scythe had a good introduction, but was wasted overall. Goku Black's Level 3 in FighterZ is rad as shit though.

Man. 18 didn't get a particularly good showing here compared to the anime. She spent the entire time fighting The Fireballs, and then got tossed out before she could take out anyone. I could have sworn Piccolo went out before her in the anime as well, but since the order of eliminations for U7 is set in stone, I guess I gotta double check that.
Meanwhile, U11 is doing far better here than they did in the anime, with no fighters eliminated at all so far. It's unexpected, but that probably means someone (probably Goku, or maybe Kale) will start wiping them out en masse later.
One Strip! One Strip!

Speaking of Heroes content, here's a picture
◊ of Hakai Goku performing his Super Attack.
Meanwhile, Shintini's designs for Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, Whis, and Piccolo have debuted
Generally, they're dressed similar to their Super version, though Beerus and Whis look closer to Toriyama's soft designs of them. Vegeta's Saiyan-inspired armor has navy blue/black coloring, and Goku had the King Kai kanji on his back again.
Also, since V-Jump scans are coming out, you know what that means?
