Hit taking off his skirt was so dumb and goofy. His silhouette just looks wrong without it. Also, it is apparently a skirt, not part of a Badass Longcoat.
x2: I've also seen some people view it as Toyotaro simplifying Hit's design for the sake of convenience on himself as well, taking a page from his sensei. Having a reasonable, in-story justification for character growth works glues both concepts nicely (even if I'm little iffy about Hit trying out a less time-skip focused fighting style on Jiren, of all opponents).
That being said, Hit, if you're gonna strip, you might as well go shirtless
◊ as well.
I actually found that hilarious, of all things, to end off this chapter of Super with: a run-a-mill Capsule Corp cruise ship that served a throwaway setting and joke.

Of course it is a skirt...
Why would not it be?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Alright, Time for some dubbed Super...
<Watches that god damn scene again>
....
As I was saying, time to talk about Super.
Um...I prefer the skirt for Hit to be honest.
One Strip! One Strip!Unless he had a short wife and boy without a nose, it wouldn't be worth it...

Not with that attitude.
It's Heroes. That's all the explanation you really need.
~slimcoder: Well, I'll try my best. If ~@Rinsankajugin wants to correct me on some details, that would be great:
- The post-Tournament of Power versions (kind of, but not really) of Goku, Vegeta, Future Mai are investigating the appearance of the Prison Planet
(a collection of varied planets and era sowed together). This all began after the wild card Fu gave them the tip-off that Future Trunks was imprisoned there.
- Cooler managed to break out Future Trunks from the Prison Planet during this, simply asking Trunks to "follow him". This part's speculative, but considering how Heroes likes to mirror or twists themes from other existing Dragon Ball media, I wouldn't be surprised if Cooler's being a pragmatic Token Evil Teammate, much like his canonical brother's adventures in the TOP, for a reason I'll quickly get into.
- After reaching the planet, and getting into a misunderstanding with an on-patrol Xeno Goku, the GT-inspired Goku tips off our Super cast that Fu was responsible for this mess, and potentially trapping them on the planet. Fu doesn't deny it, but points out that it just him acting on his scientific urges.
- In order to get out, Fu askes the team to acquire him the 7 "special" Dragon Balls from a couple of notable owners found on the planet. Bojack and his crew are suspected to be one of the Dragon Ball holders, hence their confrontation. They even got a head start with Xeno Goku unknowingly having one of the Balls in his possession.
- Meanwhile, Fu doing some else in between his brief pop-ins with the casts, like attending a mysteriously chained up Saiyan.
I do find it amusing that people (mostly the Youtube-Facebook crowd) are becoming increasingly interested in the crazy stuff that occurs in Heroes from these teasers without the full context of it note . This comment's pretty amusing

I feel like asking some And Then What? questions, particularly for Cell and Zamasu since I can't come up with satisfactory answers for them.
- Zamasu: Assume Goku Black and Future Zamasu succeeded with the Zero Mortals plan. Assume Future Trunks didn't go back to the past and was killed. Assume Zen'o won't come to eliminate the universe. What's next? The two being roommates in a sitcom until the stars die off?
- Cell: This one baffles me the most. Assume he wins and everyone on Earth dies. What's next? Him trying to deal with Babidi and whoever invades Earth?

The truth behind Hit's strength is that he learned how to lag switch someone in real life, clearly he's learned from his time in Fighter Z
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
