No, Rob, you were right the first time. I did know what I was doing. I started this, and I'm very sorry.
It works either way, honestly. "Hakai" sounds like a foreign technique and "destroy" is simply badass.

This song needs more love. The Kai system is... confusing. The manga says Universe 7 at least had five before Buu killed four of them, a much later interview with Toriyama said there are three who work in shifts, and all the other universes seem to only have one.
Manga takes priority in my book, but eh.

Maybe the Supreme Kais we meet from other universes are all the Grand Supreme Kais, and the cardinal-direction ones are just not worth mentioning.
Or wasn't Zamasu said to be one of those lesser-ones before being polled for the big role?

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Interestingly, the U7 South Supreme Kai is mentioned on Super's website in a truly bizarre context: it's stated that U2's Kai, Pell, is currently the strongest of the Supreme Kais, above even the South Supreme Kai who was stronger than Buu. Considering the character never fought whatsoever, dunno why they bothered revealing this.
It's important to know the strongest character of their species at any point in time in this series for any reason at all so we can always be aware of the power scale as well as the strongest to weakest fighters.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Zamasu was a King Kai before he was in training to become a Supreme Kai. Hell, in the manga, there's a bit where Shin talks about how the other Supreme Kais of U7 died and left him the universe before he was ready, with Gowasu sympathizing. As odd as it is, it seems to be canon that U7 had four cardinal direction Supreme Kais and a Grand Supreme Kai a few million years ago and all the other universes have only one Supreme Kai nowadays. Maybe they changed the Supreme Kai system between then and now.
I don't recall Shin mentioning that in the manga. Guess I'll have to go back to that chapter.
One Strip! One Strip!I kind of wish we got a little more out of what Supreme Kais actually do, besides intentionally doing nothing when danger strikes the universe and then dying (or turning evil) the moment they do try to do something about it.
King Kai takes a more direct role in the well being of his part of the universe, and Kami absolutely does, but I don't think most planets have a Kami / Guru in the way Namek and Earth do. Maybe the Supreme Kai is more of an administrative role: the lesser Kai are direct guardians of the universe, and the Supreme Kai's just there to take care of the big stuff.
Still, Super had some nice opportunities to establish what Shin's role in contrast to Beerus' was that I wish they had taken, especially since Beerus and Whis got some of the best conceptual ideas in regards to divinity in The 'Verse imo.

I think Frieza and Buu are the only ones who didn't care about Goku specifically.
