Sorry, having trouble checking.
The sites I usually visit are being stubborn (jumping to new pages while I'm trying to load the videos, which is really annoying.
One Strip! One Strip!Just a thought, but time travel must have been invented before Bulma. When Gowasu is discussing the green rings, he doesn't say they represent all the timelines created. He says they were the timelines created recently, and I imagine for a god a decade or two is recent. Jaco knows about the Time Travel Taboo by the time he's looking for Kakarot, which takes place ten years before the series-so an incident must have happened before then. Then Beerus and Whis also mention it, Whis even explaining the butterfly effect so this time travel isn't just forwards-only
So this must mean there could be lots of other timelines created before the series began, over the eons the universes have existed. Just at least several decades ago as a cut-off date. Which could be an easy way of explaining all the different continuities in case they want to be like DC and Earth-Two. Or if they ever want to make a Super-GT crossover.
So I've been wondering:
There are quite a few concepts in Dragonball that I don't feel Toriyama explored to their fullest potential, but being that I'm shortsighted and rather biased, I wanted to ask you guys which ideas you think Toriyama explored the best.
What concepts do you think received the right amount of development in the series?
One Strip! One Strip! He got a lot more use in side works, most notably when dealing with Towa. DLC 6 makes fantastic use of him and make him into the villain he should have been. Heroes does some really interesting things with him as well. Now my only wish is that we can make demon realm CaCs in the next xenoverse game
But in Dragon Ball proper, yeah his entire concept is utterly wasted... but at the same time it's oddly effective? Like, I actually enjoy that there's a facet of the universe that's unexplored/irrelevant to our characters that still had fighters as strong as the threats our heroes have faced before, and how one of them is just straight up as powerful as Cell (someone who our heroes have long surpassed).
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI don't blame you, as the latter topic is something you'd more likely hear in dragon ball.
I in particular would probably be more expected to complain about the concepts (that I think) Toriyama wasted, which is part of the reason I went for the opposite idea.
Thought it would be an interesting topic to explore for this thread.

One Strip! One Strip!Dabra isn't giving me much from Shin Budokai...
It'd probably help if I read the dialogue...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. So, now that Super's over, here's my rundown on my favorite... things in it.
Favorite Super villain: Zamasu. What can I say, I love a villain who's Start of Darkness is set during the course of the series. I love how much of a whiny bitch he is, especially since the other characters call him out as such. I especially love my interpretation, which is that he represents the young, rich white supremacists who're currently a major problem in the world.
Favorite Super fight: Goku vs Caulifla and Kale/Kafla. Vegeta vs Magetta has been dethroned. This battle in the Tournament of Power has such an awesome sense of escalation, with each new level of power from each of the fighters inspiring the next in their opponent. It also has one of the coolest endings to any fight in Dragon Ball.
Favorite Super character: Magetta. Yes, still. His design is great, his powers are great, his personality is great, and his fight with Vegeta is great. What more is there to say?
I was hoping I remembered wrong...
But HFIL is actually used in Shin Budokai...it's really weird.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Shin Budoukai also uses Kayoken for some ungodly reason.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Speaking of Shin Budokai...this game is a little hard, it's been a while
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.A couple of Heroes things in the latest Weekly Jump...
