It might have ended up like the Cell Saga in the discard and draw plot threads due to someone sitting over his shoulder and scoffing.
Toriyama is really vulnerable to scoffs.
I mean the Cell and Buu Saga both have a problem with the story veering around a lot. I just think its more noticeable in the Buu Saga because it goes on so long.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersYeah, the Cell Saga feels more like you don't know what is going to happen for a lot of it but the Buu Saga feels like nothing's happening since the back half is just them trying to find ways to put Buu down.
Healing factors are just a terrible, terrible idea for these sorts of shows and Buu's was even more ridiculous than Cell's.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"You're correct, only Boo should have regeneration powers.
That way he's unique.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I think you could have limited Cell to healing analogous to Piccolo's.
The from a single cell thing doesn't even make sense based on how the regeneration is supposed to work and also being only partially namekian you'd think he'd have worse regeneration actually.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWell not really...he could regrow parts of his body too, just faster.
He just also has reformation.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I do like the combat possibilities of Buu a little more. He really explored the many uses of a bubble gum body.
Cell mostly had his regeneration and pulling out familiar moves. Blander, overall. But with a better jawline.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThis is what I imagine Frieza's plan to be
- Step 1: Rebuild the empire
- Step 2: Become stronger
- Step 3: Keep an eye on Universe 9 so they don't try to kill him again
- Step 4: Find some way to blackmail Sidra and Roh, and exploit their fears. Quitela would be a bonus
- Step 5: Use dirt on Beerus, like the fact Beerus got him to destroy planets whenever he was lazy
- Step 6: Try to figure out where the guy who killed him the first time is
- Step 7: Figure out if using the Super Dragonballs or any Dragonball is an option, and what is he allowed to do
- Step 8: Finally get revenge on Goku
Freeza would have a hard time using the Super Dragonballs, considering you need to make the wish in "God Language", which only the gods speak.
He doesn't have the means to travel between universes or transport objects the size of actual planets that we're aware of either.
Based on his reaction to the gods freaking out about Ultra Instinct in the Tournament of Power, personally I think that's where he's set his sights. Besides, now that Goku knows it (Freeza doesn't know Goku can't activate it at will yet), he's going to need it himself to stand a chance against Goku.
Indeed, I said a while back that Frieza would become even more dangerous if given the chance to come back, because he's shown he actually can learn from his mistake, even if slowly.
He's figured out his stamina issues, so if he tries training again, he might become stronger, and now he knows about Ultra intstinct. He's got some solid goals in front of him, and all the reason in the world to do things right. I don't get what they were thinking actually bringing him back.
He was terrifying enough before hand, then he became as powerful as SSB without any god ki, and now he knows there's levels beyond that. If he can figure out a way to get his hands on some of this shit (which he has the time to do since he won't try attacking Goku and company again until he does have that power), he's gonna be unstoppable.
About the only thing outside his reach is the dragon balls (due to New Namek being unfindable, and the earth balls requiring him to mess with Goku, which he's finally smart enough to not do), but if he becomes the biggest dog in the yard that is U7, he technically won't need them.
One Strip! One Strip!![]()
Yeah, the only person who showed anywhere near the time-power benefits from training as Freeza was Buu (who surpassed him in that regard) but Freeza is far more likely to actually put in dedicated work. Freeza training, say, five or six years would really be something we haven't seen before.
Wait...is that what happened in Broccoli 2? They blasted him into the sun again?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well, it didn't work for Cooler, but it was the first time they tried it with Broly...
...
Okay, this may be old, but Fridge Logic just kicked in: The Tournament of Power worked on Super Smash Bros rules. Complete with Mewtwo being unlocked after a long multiplayer session.
Is Jiren Mewtwo?
48 minutes though...for Smash Bros.? I don't think so.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It feels like Whis is kind of covering his own ass by bringing Frieza back. Remember, before Vegeta could kill Frieza he decided to Rage Quit and blow up the planet. Whis had to rewind time so Goku could do the job. Whis is the reason Frieza is dead, and he doesn't have any obligation to do so beyond liking Goku and friends. That's rather unprofessional for an angel, so he may want to make up for it by bringing Frieza back

Nope, why would he care...?
