Imagine how unstoppable the Red Ribbon Army would be if they'd hadn't had the poor luck of launching into their Dragon ball quest at the same time as Goku.
And then making him mad enough to want to go after them. Seriously, they'd be ruling the world right now if they'd tried it a few years earlier.
Huh...there's an idea there.
Edit: Just remembered another old thought: Has it ever been explained why Roshi and Crane hermit seem to be the only human martial artists on earth who teach Ki techniques?
I never considered it before, but I'm guessing it has to do with King Piccolo's original purge before he was sealed away.

One Strip! One Strip!Honestly, it' not impossible.
Though I'd assume the Grand Priest wouldn't make a mistake like that, and all dragons have been rather good at interpreting the spirit of a wish as opposed to the letter.
One Strip! One Strip!![]()
It especially works because none of the Z warriors met her, and at most she might have only briefly saw Goku (and that's mainly in the anime), so she'd have no reason to know who they are, and how they're already connected.
Plus, now that I think of it, a former Red Ribbon officer marrying a dude who as experimented on by a former Red Ribbon scientist would be interesting.

One Strip! One Strip! It's not really 17 making the wish however. It's El Padre Grande, and he'd make sure that it was clear what 17 meant.
Also, 17 doesn't know about the other universes that were erased, so he wouldn't consider them, bu the priest would.
One Strip! One Strip!Gowasu.
Edit: That grin Jiren gives after getting a double gut-punch is pretty great

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I think this episode proves that Vegeta really is just old news for Goku.
Throughout Super Goku has teamed up with a multitude of people & having high compatibility with them, from Hit to the Androids, to even having a 100% sync-rate with Frieza of all people.
In contrast he & Vegeta have consistently abysmal teamwork & can't seem to be able to do shit togther.
Goku should really just move on from Vegeta & find someone new cause Vegeta is clearly not properly providing Goku's wants & needs.
This is the most emotive Jiren has been since.......... the sun first rose.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."This is true.
Hell, their inability to work together was a plot point in Resurrection F (since they could have solved the problem in seconds if they'd been willing to do so, but valued their own individual fights more, even in the face of Earth's destruction).
Goku and Vegeta being totally unable to work together seems to be a thing now.
One Strip! One Strip!
Most along those lines, yeah, due to his narrowminded view of strength.
It's left up to interpretation at the point.
Based on his backstory, and his attitude prior to fighting Goku in 129-131, he might have considered a wish that would fall under the "selfish" range that the Zen-Ohs and Grand Minister talked about.
Toriyama did allude that Toyotaro's version will have some differences, but I'm not sure by how much. We know that the elimination order's the same between both versions (that's a Toriyama contribution).

Eh. Screw him. He ain't important. I can't even laugh at how we learned nothing about what he wanted.
Heh. This however, is pretty hilarious.

Yeah, but Goku wasn't really thinking clearly in that situation.
