That's something I noticed about Dragonball Super as a whole: with the exception of the Goku Black arc, everything that happened in Super seemed to be for the sake of setting up new stories, not being a self-contained story on its own.
Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, if the story goes in interesting directions. It's just rather curious and not something Dragon Ball's really done before, as far as I can tell.
Sounds about right. The other games didn't have any chance of being canon like Online. I still hope that parts of Online will be canon, like Gohan's book, Krillin reopening the Turtle school, and Goten and Trunks opening a sword-wielding dojo (although certain things don't really work as well, like Goku and Vegeta's final battle only producing the power of a supernova, which is pathetic at the level they're at now, and Goten and Trunks' claim to fame of cutting Katchin being MUCH less impressive).
Did she need to give him a boat that big?
He saved not only their universe, but multiple ones! 17 should be getting all the damn boats!
All the boats in all universes!
Also, now that the japanese version is done for now, it's pure dub for me. I gotta say, the funnest part is watching it with someone who doesn't know what's happened already. I'm doing that right now, and since we are in the Goku Black arc, seeing this person try and piece things together is fun.
Especially since we just had the reveal of Zamasu appearing alongside Black. Looking back, this was a fun mystery really.
One Strip! One Strip!Maybe they're doing a very slow-burn Heel–Face Turn arc for Frieza, and this tournament arc was his answer to Vegeta's Namek Arc. Still evil, but at least co-operative and gets a happy ending of sorts.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Oh man. That means they are gonna have to wait months to air a sub of that movie.
One Strip! One Strip!Ugh, these fickle primadonna internet celebs who can't decide to stay or go.

x5 Not quite, since Funimation at least acknowledged the Super Movie on their social media pages when it was first announced, unlike Battle of Gods or Ressurection F. Furthermore, during the reveal of the Dragon Ball Legends mobile game, a representative of the movie staff stated the film would be released worldwide "around the Japanese release
".
Really though, I hope the next series ("a brief parting". ay Narrator?) doesn't have as much of a gap. Three weeks to a month behind, much like the Attack on Titan dub, would be fine for me.
x3: Hey, I'm just glad Gowasu and Cus are doing some more videos at all. Their hiatus was killing me!

Okay, so Tights finally shows up at the ending party, Yurin continues to train at Tenshinhan's school, but Launch couldn't even bother to show up?!
Also, I find Freeza getting revived slightly amusing, only because this is probably the softest way of making the Post-End of Z events of from Toriyama's other DB spin-off
, like Kuriza (Freeza's son), remotely canon.
Well then, we're both foolish and naive men, because neither of those options will ever happen.
One Strip! One Strip!Goku was perfectly willing to let Freeza go once he got bored of fighting him in Namek
So I'm not really surprised
Forever liveblogging the Avengers

I mean Frieza's revival is a Sequel Hook. It's not like we're supposed to assume everything's hunky-dory.
