That really felt like they just didn't have time for that. Kind of like how there was absolutely no fanfare over the tournament being officially over, they're just like 'Jiren is out, universe 11 is erased, 17 what's your wish?'
They never actually declared U 7 the winner or that the tournament was ended. Feels weird.
A-ny-way, I'm going back on my study break.
From the way that it played out, it feels like the Zeno's were trying to prove Zamasu wrong. Remember, Future Zeno was there during Universal Zamasu, so I'm pretty sure he told Present Zeno about the ordeal. It seems they wanted someone to wish on the super dragonballs for the other universes to come back to prove that mortals can be virtuous, unlike Zamasu's thoughts of mortals being unchanging. So, just like how Res-F foreshadowed Ultra Instinct, the Future Trunks arc's ideas on mortals continued on into the Tournament of Power.
This is also why Gowasu is smiling at the end.
Somehow I knew this was going to happen, I really hate how asinine it turned out but I believe it is a decent ending. I really wish that they put more thought into the tournament as opposed to just winging it the whole time. The Tournament of Power is just a huge waste of time and it wasn't even all that fun.

Wouldn't that have made more sense if "Goku Black" was the first arc?
And every arc afterward was kind of showing him right...only for this last on to prove him wrong?
And they did more with the multi-verse concept?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well that was better than I could've imagined. I thought this was gonna be crappy & frustrating but I was very wrong. I can think of a few ways this could've ended better, but I'm more than satisfied with how it was executed. As much of a sight Goku & Freeza teaming up I'm way more shock that Freeza is back alive. The fact that he was resurrected before King Kai is also hilarious.
With Super ending, I have no more reason to get back into anime again.
Also DBZ is still beloved around the globe.

Would that bring back the universes Zamasu infected? Or since they haven't been erased yet(Trunks' timeline is destroyed 16 years in the future), does that keep the monkey's paw in check?
You know I am honestly not sure about how I feel about episode 131. I mean I am glad that the erased universes are back but the episode itself just wasn’t all that much to me. Although that could have just been because I didn’t like Frieza being...Frieza, Goku getting bagged on again (even though it seems to be established that the whole “Universes being erased” thing was not his fault) and how the ending felt kind of...meh to me
I guess I just wish that there was more of the following:
Goku being regarded in a positive light
His position as the strongest still being in place
And a more loving scene between himself and Chi-Chi
I really think that Goku needed more loving and more intimate scenes with his wife, instead of just making her into a joke, Chi-Chi deserves better than that. And, also I think that there should have been more Goku quality time scenes between him and his second son Goten, as well as more shirtless scenes (as odd as that is to say), since the tournament of power has been most of Goku’s body that we have seen since DBGT.
Chi Chi technically doesn't deserve anything...
But randomness would say that about all characters...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I liked the Finally. Don't think it made up for the entirety of the To P (which was still to long), but it was better than i was expecting.
Great episode. Freeza and Goku actually working together was some hype. 17 winning the whole tournament was unexpected and awesome. The whole thing being a Secret Test of Character was an interesting twist, and I'm betting that the Grand Priest had more to do with that than Zeno did, since Zeno didn't even bother to mention it. I think this is the first time since Vegeta that a fight has ended with both parties weaker than when they started. Can't wait for season 2, and I hope it's in the artstyle of movie 20 going forward.
Yup still think the twist lacks sense. Zeno has never shown any sign of being remotely anything close to the level of intelligence required to make such a rational & thought out action. These are the same people who play pinball with motherfucking planets.
Anyone else felt that the animation moved too fast? Like seriously everything in the fight happened at such a rapid pace that I had trouble paying attention. I mean the fight was good but it was weird too.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Zeno has literal God Tier Obfuscating Stupidity. Fooled even the audience. Either that or there just smarter than they look.

Oh yeah, and I don't believe for a second that Goku isn't going to use Ultra Instinct in every single major battle going forwards, getting progressively better at using it at will. This arc still marks the point where Goku blew way past Beerus in power, and Vegeta is around Beerus' level, at minimum.
A bit of Fridge Logic: The ending gives a Doylist reason for taking Future Trunks off the table with the Goku Black arc; if one of the reasons for the Tournament of Power Arc was to bring Frieza back to life without diminishing his threat, then something needed to be done to keep Future Trunks from trying to kill him after he returns to reclaim his empire.

They could have at least rounded up a set of dragonballs. It would have been really funny for them to use the Namekian dragonballs he tried to steal all those years ago to revive him.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"
