it's mostly how he talks about how a story "should" be written, and talking as if some aspects of Dragon Ball are objectively bad writing and/or placing an emphasis on things that are oddly irrelevant in regards to the narrative.
I'm not going to deny that he makes some good points or say that his analysis is bad, I just think that he ends up analyzing things condescendingly rather than constructively a lot of the time.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI like him, but I kinda agree with a lot of what he says so naturally I'm biased.
I think there have been maybe one or two times where I thought what he was complaining about didn't matter, but I can't recall them off the top of my head.
One Strip! One Strip!Everything is subjective.
Except what I just said. That's pure undisputed fact.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm really sorry. I enjoyed the series in the long run, but I'm saddened that a lot of cool people in the community of a franchise I love are being so negative over the series. Feels dissapointing and sad.
Then again, I already deal with people telling me everyday anything I like is crap, so I'm used to this. Maybe is karma.
I really pity Toyotaro right now...
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Problem with that though is Goku previously expressed having a lot of fun actually fighting Kale and Caulifla. Didn't stop him from eliminating them.
Since they've taken pains to point out how infinitesimally few inhabited planets U7 has...
...why not wish the people of the other universes back... in U7?

People really want that cop-out don't they?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Not so much "cop-out" as "not literally the worst Esoteric Happy Ending I'd have ever seen."
The only bad thing about the Black arc was Trunks getting a near identical timeline...
I guess two in a row isn't really necessary, but fine.

De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I seriously want the erased universes to return.
I didn't end up with character development from Kale, Vegeta's ongoing promise to the cute asian boy of reviving him, and Toppo's drama at the beginning, or the Trio de Danger resolution to survive just to end with all of them fucking dead.

From the sound of it, Epic is talking about his critical analysis as a whole.
