It occurs to me that, despite seeing UIO Goku and SSBE Vegeta next to each other in the ending, they never actually fought at the same time. What if the final battle was rewritten to be a double battle with UIO Goku and SSBE Vegeta vs Jiren and God Toppo? Toppo and Vegeta would go out before Goku and Jiren do, to allow Goku and Jiren to have their 1-v-1, but I think it'd be cool to see a team battle on that scale.
I don't know if I'd agree to such a generalization. I'm not even sure what Super's best fights would be.

I really like that Goku vs ape Baby was an extended sequence. The giant forms don't usually last for long, even though power levels mean you can totally have a giant and regular sized guy go head-to-head evenly.
And GT actually allowed that to happen for once, because a character fighting evenly with a giant rarely ever is a thing.
Never is a thing.

Isnt that a generalization itself? Supers fights aren't amazing, but there are a few standouts. Generally whenever Naoki Tate is on an episode, the fight choreography is good (even if the art suffers)
Mhm, I mostly remember Goku vs. Baby because of it being a giant fight.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Memorable GT fights:
- Vegeta facing Baby-controlled Gohan and Goten
- Uub showing up to save Pan from Baby
- Super Saiyan 4 Goku wrecking Baby Vegeta
- Goku fighting Frieza and Cell again
- Goku vs Ice Shenron
- Goku vs Syn Shenron while blinded
- Gogeta making a fool out of Omega
Memorable Super fights:
- Well the Beerus fight paled next to the movie version
- ...
- ...ah, right, the first fight between Vegeta and Black, that was neat
- Trunks going berserk against Zamas
- Goku going berserk and punishing Black, treating Zamasu like garbage
- Vegito vs Perfect Zamasu
- Trunks and the Spirit Bomb Sword fighting Zamasu
- Goku vs Toppo
- Goku vs the Trio De Dangers
- Vegeta vs Toppo
- Goku vs Caulifa and Kale
- Goku vs Kafla
- Goku vs Jiren
- Goku, 17, Vegeta vs Jiren
For GT, I suppose the Goku vs Baby fight was unique (most fights against Oozarus aren't as close as that one was).
For Super, Goku vs Hit would likely be up there.
I think Vegito vs Fused Zamasu would be pretty good as well, even if the ending was shit.
And both parts of Goku vs Jiren round one, even if it was something of a Frieza saga repeat.
One Strip! One Strip!I think BT 3 might reference it? Or was it the Xenoverse 1 mission in the GT part of the game?
Or it could very well be neither

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeThe ball gets fused into Kakarrot's head after he swallows it...
It's the best scene in GT.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Cross posting from the Jojo thread, because this has been an itch on my back for a while and I've finally decided to scratch it:
Which non combat stands do you think could defeat the Z Warriors?
The reason I state non combat is because trying to beat these guys with brute strength is pretty useless unless you are stronger than them, so pretty much every combat capable stand loses no matter what tricks they pull out. Stands that have little attacking power, but a special instant win condition however, something outside Goku and company's wheel house would arguably fair better since if they can meet that condition, that's it. They are done.
For me, I'm putting down three possible dudes who could pull it off:
My reasons, in order, are as follows:
1) Mannish Baby: he just has to be near you, and he can trap you in Death 13's mirror world. If the Z Warriors survive, they'd still forget everything that happened while they were sleeping, effectively ensuring the kid would have near unlimited tries. And since they don't remember what he does, they'd have no way to know to get rid of the kid (provided one of them isn't arbitrarily immune for some reason).
Now there is one possible thing that could foil the kid: all the things he used to try and kill the Joestar team were things that could kill a normal person in real life (Scythes, fear, etc). It took a random heart disease to kill Goku (and I'm no longer sure if it's something he caught from the Yardrats or not) and Goku also shrugged off an axe to the head as a child with nothing more than a large bump. Jotaro and company were in danger because even though they knew it was a dream world, Mannish Baby had full control of the world, and all the methods it used to try and kill them were things that could kill them in real life. For me, it's a question of whether the Z Warriors could still shrug off what the kid does to try and kill hem in the dream world since they are things that wouldn't kill them in the real world, or if their Nigh-Invulnerability would be totally nullified in Death 13's dream world. If it's the former, it'd be a stalemate, with him unable to kill them, but them not being able to kill him either. If it's the latter, then the most powerful warriors on that earth are killed by a damn baby.
2) Darby: Darby is trickier. He wins if he can get them to gamble with him, but that requires two conditions: 1 that they have a reason to gamble with him (and none of them seem very interested in that kind of thing) and 2, that they not get suspicious when he says they have to bet their souls. Now it's a toss up to whether they'd be dumb enough to walk into such a trap or not (on the one hand, with everything they've seen, I can't picture them not realizing that Darby's soul stealing is for real, but on the other hand, depending on who he gets first, and that's essential.
Darby can only win if gets one of them in his trap first (since then, they can't do anything to him or they lose their chance to undo his soul stealing). If he's lucky, he can lure someone in with information they might want (provided it's not Vegeta, who'd probably just force it out of him). If he's not...well he's done. That being said, if Darby can get one of them on his terms and take their soul, he's good to go.
3) Yoshiro Kira: Atom Heart Father has one single victory condition: getting them in a picture, and then making someone destroy that picture. Once he's got them in a picture, he can attack them as much as he wants...he just wouldn't be able to do anything to them. As I stated with Mannish Boy, knives and shit don't mean much to these dudes. That being said, since he's a picture, they'd be unable to do anything to him either...until they realize they need to destroy said photo.
As you may or may not recall, anything that happens to a photo of with Yoshiro in it, happens in the real world to those in the picture. That includes destroying said picture. He could never beat them with brute force, but getting them to destroy themselves by trying to destroy his picture with them in it (as I don't think they'd realize they'd be killed as well) is his best bet at victory.
And there we go. Anyone got their own suggestions on it(like some part 5-8 stands that could work since I only know Parts 1-4). I know it's basically a versus topic, and we're all sick of those, but I'm really wondering what others think.
Or you could just ignore this and continue with our usual discussions. Either way is fine with me.

One Strip! One Strip! So what went wrong would you say
Not in terms of individual plot points but what writing problems and trends made super anything but?

Forever liveblogging the Avengers

Vegeta vs Magetta, Goku vs Hit (both fights), and Goku vs Caulifla and Kale/Kafla are all among my top favorite fights in the entire Dragon Ball franchise, and nothing from GT even comes close.
