I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Aw, Gotendo barely spoke in that clip.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Excluding characters already introduced(all of Universe 7, Botamo, Frost, Magetta, Cabba and Hit) and characters who are fusions of participants(Kefla, Koichirator, Aniraza), which is your favorite fighter for each universe(obviously except Universe 7 because of what I mentioned)
- Universe 2: Jimeze because of his Nice Guy personality, he's a Yardrat and I liked seeing the teleport being spammed
- Universe 3: Katopesla because of his comic relief role, I found his Stance System interesting, and he was unique in not being a cyborg, scientist or robot. He was a Space Police who reminds me of a Kamen Rider or Power Ranger
- Universe 4: Monna. I liked how much of a prick she was, and I felt she had one of the better fights of her universe. Her ability to inflate herself like a balloon/wrecking ball
- Universe 6: Kale. I was worried she would be a total Broly clone, but I liked her Character Development and dynamic with Caulifla. It made her victories feel like victories to me
- Universe 9: Bergamo. Pretty obvious, as he's the face of the tournament, Jerkass Has a Point with him and he has the underdog going for him
- Universe 10: Obuni. Though honestly his universe was such a joke(except Gowasu) he got this mostly by default
- Universe 11: Toppo. I find him a more interesting and verbose character than Jiren, and I liked how his character progressed through the tournament. Also, God of Destruction Toppo is one of the most badass things I've ever seen in the franchise
Universe 2: Jimeze by default of not spouting the same platitudes of love and being a Yadrat.
Universe 3: Katopesla. Between robots with no personality and fodder, he's the only one that can actually count as a character.
Universe 4: Ganos. Credit where credit's due, him being a duck thing was surprising. It's a shame he was wasted on Roshi.
Universe 9: Sorrel, by default.
Universe 10: Obuni. The fodder universe, so really he's the only choice.
Universe 11: Toppo, because I sympathize with him.
Edit: Right, I forgot Universe 6. The Namekians are pretty much the same character, and one of the few that are actually decent people, so them I guess.

Well, under that condition I'd exclude universe 6 because that doesn't leave enough characters to judge fairly, and they don't beat my actual favourite (Hit) so why bother?
- Universe 2: Wow, these guys all suck. I'm going with Kakunsa, for her design and feral fighting style.
- Universe 3: Oh these guys also mostly suck. I would have gone with the combined robot, but since that's not allowed, Pepsiman I guess. His interaction with Freeza was funny.
- Universe 4: Majora I guess. Nice design/style.
- Universe 9: The trio all have similarly decent designs, and Lavender wins points for being really crazy and having the coolest power. Hop has my favourite design but nothing beyond that. So Lavender
- Universe 10: Obuni. Decent ability, terrible competition.
- Universe 11: Toppo I suppose. Only potential competition is Dyspo, who had some enjoyable moments, but I didn't like how much his fights flip-flopped or that he needed another speed boost to be a credible threat.
Man... as inevitable as it was, there is so much fodder in the new universes. Even the ones that do get an amount of focus are just so lacking in anything.
How fast does a character need to be before their speed actually matters?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I'm going to mention a character that I really loved, as well as a character or two that I really loved the design of, even if they didn't amount to much.
U2: Jimmies for favorite, nice dude with good use of teleportation. I liked how good he was with it, reminded me a little of Nightcrawler. Ribrianne is a runner-up, though. The Sniper duo for good design, Prum has one of the most unique powers in the tournament and their tactics were good, even if the episode they were in fell short. Shame both Jimmies and Prum were eliminated early in the manga.
U3: Either Katopesla or Maji-Kayo. Katopesla for reasons mentioned above, Maji-Kayo for being a badass slime monster with a bit of a sadistic streak and a really fun varying design, as all good slime monsters have. Nigrisshi for good design. While I don't think he would've been as good as Anilaza (though now that I think about it, he kind of looks just like Anilaza...) for a final boss, they really messed up early on saying that he was U3's strongest warrior. Shame Katopesla was eliminated early in the manga.
U4: Either Ganos or Monna. Both had great designs and unexpected transformations, but Ganos' ability is really neat and his relationship with Roshi is something I would love to see them bring back. Maybe he becomes a student? On the other hand, Monna played the Heel so well, and had one of the coolest fights in the tournament, as well as being U4's strongest base fighter. Good design goes either to Darkori or Damon. Darkori had a cool fish demon design and really interesting talisman powers, while Damon's shtick of being super tiny could've worked out great if his impact didn't amount to that of a wet noodle.
U6: Favorite either goes to the duo of Saonel and Pirina or Kale, Kale for having fantastic character development or Saonel and Pirina for having really good teamwork and a very interesting backstory. Probably going to have to give it to Kale, since she alone stands above either of the U6 Namekians individually. Good design goes to Dr. Rota, not so much that his design is amazing (it's good, but nothing spectacular), and more due to just HOW much he was wasted, especially considering which universe he came from. That part is kind of amazing.
U9: Favorite has to be Bergamo, I mean how could I not. He's got a great design, great personality, and great powers. Good design goes to either Chappil or Sorrel. Chappil because he's a metal dragon and that's cool, Sorrel because of waifu-bait. Also, 18 eliminating her off-screen was funny.
U10: Favorite has to be Obuni, with the same reasons as Bergamo. His design's not quite as strong, but his motivation really hits home well, and his powers look really neat, they could do some trippy things with those in a video game. Good design goes to the fliers. Lilibeu showed off some cool moves in the few short minutes she was in play and Jim's beer gut and undershirt make me laugh.
U11: Favorite is Toppo, with Dyspo as a close runner-up, and Jiren as a slightly further runner-up. Great character development, great presence throughout the arc, and great battles win this for Toppo easily. Good design goes to Zoiray, I always liked tornado characters and he's a fun spin on a heroic one. I also like how the manga gave him wings.
Okay yeah there is really not much characters in this tournament that are very likable..... or well distinct really so I'll go with the mentioned characters already cause those are literally the characters with some actual personality.
I mean like Toppo is the only person in this tournament with a defined character arc. He is leagues above most of the people in this show in that regard.

Light speed I'm assuming.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Favorite ToP fighters, huh?
- Universe 2: Jimmeze was pretty fun, he kinda felt like the Tuxedo Mask of the group. Him being a yardrat was just a cherry on top. The male Kamikaze Fireballs were also pretty funny.
- Universe 3: It's either between Katopesla and Maji=Kayo. One is a fun jab at Kamen Riders, while the other has an weird, interesting moveset.
- Universe 4: Majora, because there's you can't go wrong with a blind fighter, especially in a setting like Dragon Ball. And he was just as smug as the fans predicted. Ganos comes close too, surprising me with that Thunderbird form.
- Universe 6: Saonel and Pirina were pretty cool, even if their power-up was way to similar to Multiverse Nail. Kafla was also neat, even if she was way to similar to Multiverse Bra.
- Universe 9: The Trio de Dangers were a fun romp, with neat powers and great personalities. Sorrel and Chappil were also neat.
- Universe 10: You gotta hand it to Obuni, with a team full of morons and a universe that spawned a timeline killer, he somehow had one of the most heartfelt moments in the tournament.
- Universe 11: Hands down it's Dyspo, out of the entire Pride Troopers he was the only one who stuck to his guns when it came to Justice. Sure, Toppo was spewing about justice left and right when he first appeared, but he dropped it the second things got too hot for him. Dyspo, even after some tough fights with Hit and Frieza, never backed down from his view of justice. Plus, him beating the shit outta Frieza was just great. Vuon and Zoiray also looked cool, too.
I do wonder how fast Dyspo is when in Super Maximum Lightspeed Mode. Even the Zeno's couldn't see him...
