Well I'm glad someone is enjoying this week's episode.
Alright, well tell me what was point of Vegeta getting beat up here then? Why is it ok to focus so much on Vegeta get beaten up? Cuz the rest of episode is just Goku also doing the same thing against the wall that is Jiren before getting the convenient power up again.

She hasn't exactly been on screen in a while, so maybe lack of Blooma is also to blame.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It kinda seems like they're saying it didn't make a difference because they both got stomped...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Because Jiren can logically catch up to him and kick him off, especially since Goku shouldn't be able to go SSB with his supposed drained stamina. During a similar fight against an overwhelming enemy, which would be Freiza, he still took hits and most of his tricks only slightly injured Freiza, and Freiza had to kill him while also using a fraction of his strength and doesn't have a time limit. Jiren, on the other hand, only have to kick Goku hard enough for him to fly a few meters.
That is kind of what he was doing in this episode for the very short time Goku was SSB. They didn't specifically call attention to it, but Goku was very clearly prioritizing avoiding, deflecting, or blocking Jiren's attacks over doing his own attacks. Jiren only landed two solid blows in that whole little exchange, and they immediately knocked Goku out of SSB.
He's not so negative...
Which is usually a positive...but not this time.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I don't think the time-slot was ever appropriate for Super, because then it couldn't have a tone similar to the original.
And when I say 'gore' I really just mean the level of violence appropriate to the original. And even if Toriyama sets the outline, Toei could easily just not have the peanut gallery go "oh! this is so brutal!" which I highly doubt is Toriyama mandated.
I don't know, if you take the show seriously then it may not be that good.
