For me, "How does Goku have his power back?" was of secondary importance to "Holy shit that fight against Best Girl Kefla was awesome. Theme Music Power-Up fuck yeah!"
As long as Vegeta performs a badassliciously in the next episode questions about his recharge will fall by the wayside. Reprise of that sweet ass music from before, plox.
Doesn't help when watching Kai on Toonami which is now dealing with Gotenks running out of steam against Super Buu.
I'm sure if that was written with Super's quality they'd be back together with a snap of the finger.
It better be awesome.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."If we ignore Vegeta being back to full power in the NEP, which could be explained, we don't know, there's actually some pretty cool stuff going on. 17 creating a multi-layered chain of barriers is neat, and always a good way to see barriers used in fiction. Jiren having 3 or 4 goddamn auras is the logical extreme of SSB KK's 2, and I fucking love it. Jiren looks more expressive next episode, which is good, and he appears to be wrecking everyone even harder than he was previously, if you can believe that.
Hopefully its some visually spectacular shit that one-ups the Kefla battle a hundred-thousand times over.
Jiren needs an exciting move-set for Fighter Z & cause he's the final boss after all.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well that's one example of lazy writing.
Giving Jiren the same general personality nearly every antagonist has: The Arrogant Jackass.
Only here its sprinkled with a little bit of justice though not JUSTICE like with Black/Zamasu. As well as one being a murderous sociopath & the other's....... well Jiren could be a sociopath for all I know.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Most of the To P participants are sociopaths considering how lightly they're taking universal destruction.
See I can get that.
What I don't like is Jiren calling the man who considers the former his "sworn friend" pathetic in such a callous & arrogant manner.
It just makes him asshole. I don't care how right he is that was just uncalled for.

Agreed
With Jiren being constantly compare to Superman, this is incredibly disappointing turns of events. Everything we knew about Jiren, especially with his manga depiction, was nearly destroy with that single sentence.
He's almost a different character because of that. Despite how different Black & Hit was in the manga I could at least believe since it's still in-character.

Look at the Injustice games. Despite disagreeing with Supes becoming evil Batman is still understanding & sympathetic. He understood why he did & despite everything doesn't fully blame him or harshly condemn him.
Toppo's reasons for abandoning his morals & becoming a God are justifiable. A man who holds possibly infinite power has no moral standing to criticize someone who is willing to give up everything to save his people.
Okay just that seriously. Context is key here.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Superman (somehow) tends to understand Batman better than most. Although that's really mostly Depending on the Writer & I'm just recalling what I read about their relationship with each other. I haven't read any DC for awhile (except Doomdays Clock).
I'm hoping wrong about this & I've seen people defending Jiren's statement but that's really not the behavior of a super hero. Not one that would be base on Superman anyways but then I remember guys like Gladiator.
Why were peeps comparing J-man to S-man in the first place?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Yeah, after thinking on it, Jiren's wording was too harsh. Maybe the original Japanese dialogue is a bit softer. I can understand and appreciate the idea of Jiren disapproving of Toppo's decision (hell, one of the things I suggested changing was adding a line for Jiren in 125 that clearly set up that he didn't approve of it), but the wording was too mean, unless they're taking Jiren in a direction I don't like.
125 "So you've made up your mind, Toppo..."
Jiren was quite smug at the end wasn't he? I do understand where he was coming from though, Toppo casted his ideals of justice to become a GoD, only to lose a couple of minutes later. Toppo was a captain, a captain that Jiren probably looked up to despite being much stronger than him. Seeing a symbol of justice being distorted into a destructive being must be kinda weird. Jiren also seemed pretty annoyed in the last episode too, when Toppo was beginning to transform.
126 "How pathetic, I expected more from you..."

Agreed. Ever since Ultra Instinct made its debut, we've had characters going from "totally drained, no strength left" right back to "I'm fine, let's fight some more".
We even had a scene where Goku claims he's gaining energy from fighting other people.
At this point, I feel like the Super writers have even less clue what "stamina" is as Freeza knows how long a minute is.
