Ah, one step closer to killing everyone you know and love. Truly worthy of the praise. Seriously, what is this obsession with pride? Didn't Vegeta gave up his pride by doing the bingo dance? Being willing to sacrifice your convictions for the sake of others is more heroic than keeping your dignity.

No it hasn't. It was a Gohan thing, and when BOG did it, they didn't explain it or justify it.
Yeah, this isn't the first time they've contradicted what is previously established for a stupid, unjustified power-up but that doesn't make it any better.
Gotenks isn't beyond the two of them in any capacity other than maybe popularity, note . Even if he was stronger than them, that wouldn't have any bearing on their learning capacity. Being a fusion doesn't affect that at all.
That's... a horrible comparison. No, it is not more inconsistent for the girls to have a harder time than 3. Three is much harder than two.
Gotenks should definitely be more powerful than the girls, Super just really undersells him. In the Boo arc he was much stronger than Goku, and the girls are portrayed as being more of a 'normal' Saiyan level with Cabba being comparable to Vegeta and them being comparable, but inferior, to Goku. Remember, SS 2 Caulifla is weaker than SS 2 Goku. The only reason that Caulifla learned those forms quickly is because she's a prodigy - the same reason they gave Goten, Trunks and Gotenks. And being a prodigy, and a much more powerful one, only let Gotenks learn 3 in two weeks.
Power is completely relevant because the Super Saiyan forms all require a certain level of power to achieve.
Also... you say they should have 3 because them fighting God Goku with 2 is bullshit, but now you're arguing that their fight with God Goku is a legit measurement of their strength? Even though we saw that Caulifla is inferior to SS 2 Goku and therefore should be NOTHING compared to God anyway? Nothing about that scene makes sense which makes it hard to support your argument with this.
I disagree then. Giving UI an element of 'some assembly required' is interesting and the only reason I even like the form so far, because it hasn't really been done this way before. More build up is always nice, instead of the form suddenly appearing and then winning or losing its debut. Also, Goku's mine strategy was idiotic, there was nothing clever about it and if Super can't write clever they shouldn't try.

Jiren, for little characterization he actually has, pegs me as the type of person who respects people who stay true to their convictions. This goes back to a couple of episodes ago where Jiren initially dismissed fighting Vegeta but later came to respect him.
Toppo, when backed into a corner, "gave up on justice."
