God fucking damn it. Bardock is like Wolverine or Batman at this point, in that hyping him up to be so cool actively makes him shitty and makes me less interested.
My various fanfics. The DBH one is a rumor, but does hold cred due to SSJ-3 Majin Vegeta being teased in the DBH manga series.
Dragonball Evolution at Cinema Sins
.
Team Four Star did a video like this
.
EDIT: Damn. I looked at the sin counter and saw 54 sins, thinking the video was almost over. I'm only 4 minutes and 52 into it. The video is 22 minutes total.
People talk about The Last Airbender like it was the worst thing ever, but at least it got some of the material correct. The worst thing was how much Earthbending sucked in that movie, and how they kept saying "Ung" instead of "Aang". They had remixes of the series' theme music, names, supporting characters - it wasn't terrible, just poor.
Evolution... they just weren't trying. How do you take "boy who lives in the wilderness who turns into giant monkey" and get "awkward high school kid who is the reincarnation of an ancient demon"? God I'd love to see some of the behind-the-scenes, or talk with someone who was on the set during filming. I mean, how much is your soul (or your career) worth?

The only reason Piccolo was green was because James Marsters, who was a huge fan of the series, demanded it.

It's kinda funny; Not a lot of your standard pirates have hideouts with working lights and a submarine. Yeah, according to Bulma, it's all pretty outdated by the universe's standards but still.
Gotta love how completely wrong General Blue's reasonable presumptions are.
They haven't grown completely stale...For now, at least, but the "Goku 2 stronk" gags are getting kind old, and most battles are too one-sided, now.
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018People are confused at the moment whether this new game is a Spike Chunsoft game or a Dimps game. The screenshots seem that it'll be the former while other people have noticed the Goku render on the game's website seems to resemble the latter's Budokai games. I know it sure as hell isn't an Artdink game since they just barely made one a few months ago.
What would happen if the game is actually a joint project between SC and Dimps...
Trying to reconcile two completely different design styles that are, by and large, mutually exclusive would result in an unplayable clusterf*ck of a game.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.So this is a point.
In the series, in, like, the Buu Saga, Kid!Trunks always seems to be operating under the assumption that his dad is actually a good person. Despite all evidence to the contrary. But that evidence is all from stuff from when Trunks either wasn't born yet or a toddler. And we never actually see much of the home lives of any of the characters.
Like, the series just skips over the four years after Gohan was born, and the year Goku was in space after Frieza, and the three years waiting for the androids, and the seven years after Cell, and the ten years after Buu.
Future!Krillin died the way he lived.

Truthfully, considering how strong he knew Frieza to be, and how genuinely afraid of him he was, I can't totally blame Vegeta for that one.
He was probably on high alert that whole time, and just reacted instinctively.
The one with Krillin was great too.

One Strip! One Strip!
Your theory might be a smudge biased.
Of course, few theories aren't biased, but still.
One Strip! One Strip!I consider the Buu arc a postchapter. I enjoyed it, but it's not really connected to anything.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI thought Buu was funny.
It still cracks me up, though I can understand why some people don't like it.
One Strip! One Strip!
For a lot of other people, that's when it got good.
Babidi served his purpose, but he was a cowardly idiot who couldn't even control the least insane version of Buu (at that time, arguably Super Buu was just as sane, and much smarter).
His dad survived being around the purely insane Buu for who knows who long.
Babidi couldn't even control someone who was technically already his puppet.
And he got beat up by a normal human waitress.
He's kinda pathetic truthfully.
One Strip! One Strip!Well the reason I disliked it is because Buu was a generic villain with no connection to the characters, it seemed to go off on a million tangents, Goten and Trunks were annoying, Goku seemed dispassionate and his negative traits shone through far more, Babidi was wasted potential, and everyone seemed to fool around. Once Vegeta "sacrificed" himself and Babidi died, there wasn't any more gravitas, and it became silly.
From what I heard, Toriyama wanted it to be more like early DB. Since I'm more of a fan of late DB/early DBZ, that is probably why it didn't work for me.
I though the Freeza Arc has fantastic drama and tension. There were so much hype about Freeza considering how much he molded the Dragon Ball universe with the huge role he played, and damn he delivered in spades. He was essentially King Piccolo on steroids but a little less savvy. The biggest black eye about the arc is the infamous "5 minutes" fiasco, even in the manga it still kinda drags but nowhere near as bad as it was in the anime originally. But still, that fight between Goku and Freeza... epic and legendary... one of the greatest battles in manga or animation ever, if not the greatest. It was like the Luke Skywalker/Darth Vader for anime and manga, so climatic and a pretty awesome cliffhanger to boot. There a reason why some people think the Freeza Arc was where the manga was supposed to end, even though that's totally false
.
The King Piccolo Arc was pretty awesome as well and really doesn't get the attention it deserves, that arc is an underrated gem.
The Cell Arc can rot for all I care. I mean Dragon Ball was never a Battle of Wits to begin with but damn did the heroes and villains do some stupid shit. Imperfect Cell, Future Trunks and the Cell Games, however, were all bloody awesome. And Android 16... I always shed a tear...
The Buu Arc was pretty random but I loved it embraced the random nature of it and was just silly, goofy and Crazy Awesome because, "Dammit this used to be random-ass action comedy, lets remind them of that!"

I thought the manga should have ended at the 23rd Budokai, maybe Freeza arc at latest. The Freeza arc does have a lot of tension, but once the Ginyu Force arrives it becomes "wait for Goku" saga and the tension is cheapened.
The only thing I'd miss about Cell and Buu arcs are the Saiyaman stuff. So maybe end the manga at Freeza, and make a Saiyaman OVA?

SSJ 3 Bardock... Oy.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
