I finally watched episode 81. Goku excitedly saying that he didn't hold back was the second-biggest "are you kidding me?" moment. The biggest was seeing the Kaioken translated as "King Kai Fist".
Halfway through the fight, I thought, "Oh, I see. Goku's trying to make him so big he can't fit on the arena". Did anyone else think that?
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Likewise, Kaioushin (Supreme Kai) translates as World King God.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Botamo?
He's the sentient heater, right?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Right now, I'm imagining Botamo as Homer Simpson from that one episode where he becomes a champion boxer by letting his opponents punch him until they get so exhausted he can just push them over.
What am saying is that Botamo should hope that his opponents are incredibly stupid.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Hit's Time skip alone gives them a huge advantage over everyone but Goku and Universe 7.
We've seen him make it so that others besides himself are unaffected, so if he can extend that to his entire team, that's a lot of easy eliminations right off the bat in theory.
If we take some members of Universe 7 into account, we have three members who can split themselves up into multiple bodies: Tenshihan, Piccolo, and (under certain circumstances) Buu. This would theoretically let them cover a wide range of battles.
Piccolo can fill the arena with his Hellzone Grenade. Hard to dodge when there are so many around don't you think.
Solar Flare is gonna catch a lot of people too, and with so many in the way, Tri Beam would be hard to dodge as well if Tien plays his cards right.
Man, this is gonna be crazy.
One Strip! One Strip! But this is Dragon Ball...
When has a tournament ever been interrupted in this series?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That's true.
Even when a villain actually did show up at the tournament, it still kept going.
You can't stop a fucking Tenkaichi Budokai. Even if Freeza destroying the Earth in Resurrection F has stuck, they'd probably still find a way to hold on.
One Strip! One Strip!25th Tenkaichi Budoukai. The Boo Saga one.
Also, technically the Cell Games.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!![]()
and
The 25th kept going after many of the fighters left.
As the Cell games, it was barely a tournament really.

One Strip! One Strip!Don't you see it? That's exactly what Toriyama wants, he designed his villains with the intention of having them subvert your expectations, the least-likely looking guy to be the Big Bad is the Big Bad, or the God-Killing Abomination that is an obese pink manchild, or the useless Supreme God of the Universe, or the God of Destruction everyone's scared shitless about being just a lazy cat!
He will now do it to the tournament! It's the long con, a years long gambit that finally pays off! Like Brian Clevinger's 8-Bit Theater!
