I think my favorite part of this episode was the talk between Goku and Gohan, especially how desperate for reassurance Gohan sounds when he's all "but we can fix this, right Dad?" and Goku's obliviousness to how badly his son is taking the situation.
I'm a bit surprised at Gohan being the only other one to know the multiverse is in danger for now, and him being the one deciding what to do with that info - in a good way. It gives him more agency and complicity in the plot than I was expecting.

I'm more surprised Goku didn't tell Vegeta about it. That information will get Vegeta to come and fight, regardless of Bulma's pregnancy.
I mean, I do feel sorry for Bulma, but if Vegeta isn't in on the actual tournament then, well...
I'll just let Vegeta say it.
The Zenos play explodo marbles with planets. Future Zeno wiped the Future Trunks timeline clear at the smallest prompting. Both Zeno's destroyed 6 universes in a fit of pique.
Nice they are not.
Click Click Boom BoomI'm not saying Zeno wiping the zamusu timeline is a bad thing, but his willingness to pop straight to nuking the multiverse with some minor prompting is pretty good indication he's not a nice person.
I suppose maybe he recognized how bad the situation was on his own and didn't need Goku's prompting, but it really comes off as. "Hey Zeno blow up everything" "Sure thing random person I've never met before."
Click Click Boom BoomI don't think anybody in Japan will ever give Toriyama any hassle over the Satan thing. For decades, he's been getting away with having a guy named Satan as Earth's most popular hero without the slightest problem. He lives in a non-Christian country where one of the most successful anime ever deals with killing Angels sent to retrieve Adam and annihilate mankind while a madman schemes to become God, after all.
Re: Goku and responsibility- for all the crap GT did, it was kind of touching ending the series with Goku making sure, through a sacrifice, Earth would be safe forever from a chain of events he had an indirect hand on, after taking the time to tell all of his friends he cared and he wished them well.

The real queston wouldn't be how they got in charge, but how haven't they destroyed all of existence yet despite having what, eons, to do so and the tempers to match.

I'd assume going by Beerus' behavior & the other Gods that no one aside from his angel talks to him so he's never given the opportunity to get upset & the angel makes sure he's always properly placated.
GT's final arc also dealt with the Dragon Balls basically going enough is enough & tried to destroy the world for constantly relying on them to reverse their consequences. Even Shenron straight up leaves as he's tired of his job. They should really do a retread of the Shadow Dragons Arc. Having the DB's going crazy is a pretty good idea really.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Napoleon that's libelous! It's clear from the one angel that spoke human language that they were simply pilgrims coming to see their father's resting place who had no idea doing so would destroy humanity. The angels were the victims of a pogrom in that show and considering "second impact" was caused by a group of humans trying to boss around a godlike alien in the first place, it's Japan/Nerve that engineered the religion for the sake of murdering more of them. There's nothing Christians should find offensive about that, besides the fact the angel weapons leave cross shaped clouds instead of mushrooms, I guess.
But seeing how it's grammy night

Buldogue's lawyerTo give Goku a little credit where credit is due, he is initially mortified by the revelation and does ask if he should go and get the Zen'o's to reconsider. It's Whis who tells him that would be a bad idea - not out of an ulterior motive I think but because it's honestly a horrible idea - and then Goku is mostly reacting to the Supreme Kai and Beerus telling him that he better not fuck this up for the sake of their universe.
Obviously something is going to be made of this, but what and how impactful it will be is hard to say. Granted everyone who knows aside from Goku is sufficiently horrified about the whole thing, Gohan especially.

But who cares about the other Universes...they'll never get a chance to visit them casually.
So if they're gone: Effect = None
