I've seen bulk copies of the manga (like three volumes in one book) at the library and book store. Unfortunately, they're pretty disjointed. Still, for what I did read, I was surprised by how fast it went by. If the original anime had unbearable padding it almost felt like Toriyama went too fast with everything.
I've only read the manga. The most I've seen of the anime is some of the full fights, some clips here and there, and a couple random clusters of episodes. I honestly have no idea what you guys are talking about some of the time in regards to 'Bulma on Namek' or 'Dragon Ball's demon realm' or 'all of the Great Saiyaman and High School Gohan filler'.
Might also have something today with him being focused on in Super today as well.
Kinda funny that the Kai version of the Buu Saga starts at the same time as not only a short filler that focuses on Gohan in Super, but also the dub of Super...well more the former than the latter, but still.
One Strip! One Strip!I wasn't an enormous fan of the original Saiyaman stuff, but only because I didn't think it was balanced all that well. I liked stuff in it, but not the whole thing.
On the other hand, I've really liked this Saiyaman mini-arc in Super. It hits all the things I've loved about Super's Slice of Life episodes. And it really is nice to have an episode that honestly, totally focuses on someone who's not Goku and Vegeta, with neither of them even having a supporting role. I was a little concerned they were overdoing the first half, until it turned out to be a two-parter.
I'd love it if at some point in the future someone mentions the movie is getting a sequel: Saiyaman vs Supercop (Krillin). Lol.

Gohan still has trouble with keeping his identity a secret from people.
You know, it's actually a pretty decent deduction on Jaco's part that "Great Saiyaman" is Watagash's host. I mean, I'm pretty sure he doesn't know that Gohan is the dorky superhero, so seeing what one would guess is an ordinary human flying around points to the empowering parasite creature.
Kinda disturbing that his first course of action is to vaporize the host though. Is this thing dangerous enough to warrant murdering the host as well?
And his modus operandi for dealing with the Saiyan threat is to bash baby's heads in with a rock.

You'll never need to do it more than once...
Once done, you'll know which parts to skip...

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. He'd need to use that rock quite a bit.
So it occurs to me: with his naturally high base strength and speed (along with his superior eyesight) Jaco'd be a terrifying beast (not as much as a Super Saiyan, but still) if he were trained to use Ki.
One Strip! One Strip!

Rewatching all of Dragon Ball Z is something I never see myself doing. The Dragon Ball Manga would be better for me than that.
