She may have been planning on law enforcement as a career before she met Gohan and decided to become a housewife (*insert comment about how sexist Toriyama is toward women here*).
I mean.
There are female police in Japan? Some of them with families?
I just.
Like, I'm so confused about not just Videl not being a cop, but also Krillin being one.
They devoted like. Five minutes. In Resurrection F. To Krillin being a cop.
He's had. Like. A whole episode in Super about it? Sorta?
But it in no way follows or relates to his personality or ambitions up to that point.

Well, with the exception of Bulma, none of the ladies have had much of a role beyond their initial appearance and then suddenly Housewife.
I reckon once Toriyama had her serve as Spopovitch's punching bag, he was done with her beyond marries Gohan, so he didn't think much of it.
Hell, only now is 18 actually getting to fight seriously again (though she never cared about fighting the way Videl did).
As for Krillin being a cop...same thing. He probably just decided Krillin would be a cop because he could.
It definitely makes more sense for Videl in terms of character (though Krillin is so ridiculously strong there's nothing that can really threaten him).
One Strip! One Strip!
Well I'm not implying that any of them are bad per se, just that they tend to be fairly standard. A good motivation would be one where the villain has an in-depth back story that explains why they are the way they are but that's not always needed, hence why I don't hold it against Zamasu and Black.

This song needs more love.Rule the world, destroy the world, kill everyone everywhere.
That more or less covers it I believe for motivations.
Oh. Become immortal tends to get in there too.
One Strip! One Strip! And, as of Super, was implied to not merely use 70% of his full power like in the movie, but only a meager 10%.
Watch SymphogearWhich, doesn't make much sense seeing as how Goku's Super Saiyan form absorbed all the power of God, to the point where Goku flat out says that he didn't feel his power decrease at all when he powered down to that state. And then he destroyed one of Beerus' attacks in his base state, which he was struggling against as a Super Saiyan.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Zamasu and Black can only ever make me think of them sitting around and watching TV while going "yeah I'll destroy humans tomorrow, Jay Leno's on, and I have to see which of this woman's sons porked her dog!"
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariThat's very peculiar...but interesting.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Hey. They walked the walk and talked the talk.
They said they were gonna kill all humans, and damned if they didn't pull it off.
One Strip! One Strip! Also, they were specifically focusing on humans.
They wanted to leave nature in tact.
I too found it odd it was taking them so long and assumed Black was just being an asshole about it until that little detail was brought up a few times.
One Strip! One Strip! So rereading the Frieza fight, in Volume 4 of the Dragon Ball Full Color Frieza Arc.
Krillin says "With my power I could never..." when Vegeta asks him to almost kill him.
Vegeta says "Don't worry! I'll lower my power to the minimum."
So.
My question is, how much would Beerus have to lower his power to get hurt by someone other than Whis? Because based on the fact that Vegeta made Beerus spit blood. That puts Vegeta's enraged maximum somewhere above Beerus's absolute minimum.

Like others have said, Goku Black is awesome while Zamasu is only alright. Their only real issues are their motivations but do Dragon Ball villains ever have good motivation?
This song needs more love.
