Actually, if memory serves, after Vegeta defeats 19, Piccolo states that Vegeta didn't have enough energy/strength left to defeat 20 and all of his posturing to 20 was just a clever bluff.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! And then you realize that the only reason Vegeta had to bluff is because he is an idiot and got overconfident instead of just killing 19 ASAP. Had he done that, he would've had more than enough power remaining to kill Gero too. 19's energy absorption was only problematic for Vegeta because he let it be.
Vegeta is the architect of his own defeat most of the time, it just so happened to be that this one time it didn't bite him in the ass.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariChop off his hands or tail or whatever absorbed energy like 16 did then finish him off before regening or do what Goku did and Kamehameha him from point blank range via IT.
Hell, anyone of them should have caught it.
Like you said, it's a Virus. It should be able to infect others.
My guess is that even though it's called a virus, it's not really a virus, and Toriyama used that term because it sounded right.
I will admit, I never thought of it myself until you brought it up.
One Strip! One Strip!I mean.
Viruses that can cross species are.
They exist? But they aren't common.
The fact that Goku caught it in space where there's no Saiyans is weird, but. Maybe it was dormant or whatever until it infected him.
Vegeta as a fellow pure Saiyan, and Gohan as Goku's offspring are. Considerably more susceptible, I would say. Than any other member of the cast.
...Except Cell, actually. What with literally having Goku's cells.

There is many ways to transmit a virus, he might have gotten it in any number of ways and it was not transmitted from person to person. If it was Iatrogenic Goku could have gotten it while in the hospital after the fight with Vegeta.
Since they have a cure in Future Trunks's timeline it makes sense to be a homegrown thing.

Wait you mean she wasn't already? I thought that every non-fusion character that was in Fusions was already in Heroes.
This song needs more love.Up until this point, Arale (who's already a support), Bra and Gine haven't been playable.
Gine is now getting her chance...
Also, "3D" transforming cards!

Well what can you do when your born at the very end of the series?
Though Pan seemed to get around it, probably due to actually being an important character in GT.

One Strip! One Strip!GT seemed to have Bra as older than Pan, no? So Bra should be born already if we take the GT timeline as "canon," (which it should be, if Goku's discovery of Uub and Pan's first World Martial Arts competition is canon, although that's probably badly rewritten now as an alternate future where Beerus never showed up).
Does the series ever really keep track of characters' ages? How old is everybody now, anyway?
A Slice of Life episode dedicated to the birth of Bra that focuses on Vegeta and his relationship with his family could be really sweet if done right.
This song needs more love.A better look at the Universal Survival Saga teaser.

I really want to know what this new arc is about.

I wonder if Toriyama is still struggling to think of an explanation for why Gero gave himself a shittier body, or if he just doesn't care enough to try, and is dealing with more important things?
I mean, he did explain why 16 was in a pod instead of killing Gokus, but not the thing with Gero's choice of body.
One Strip! One Strip!
