Oh, I see.
One of my favorite parts was Champa being a whiny bitch.
Again, does it remind anyone of the Steven Universe episode Hit the Diamond?

Also, can I point out just how thoroughly I TOTALLY CALLED IT?!
Honestly I figured you couldn't hear us over the sound of your giant, throbbing erection.
My various fanfics.Positives for Yamucha...
Excited?

I don't think people want Yamcha to fail. They don't need to want it to happen, because they already know it will. They just enjoy sitting back and watching the show.
One Strip! One Strip!I do find it rather funny how, assuming this is the last time Yamcha is relevant (which is likely), then he would have ended his greatest comeback in the same pose as his descent into irrelevancy.
This song needs more love.I can't get over Yamcha striking out Botamo and Cabba. Or Yamcha taking shots at Tenshinhan, saying he left him and Chiaotzu behind because he thought they couldn't keep up in this fight. Or Yamcha thinking at Vegeta that he's going to be the protagonist this time. OR YAMCHA CRAWLING HIS WAY TO A VICTORIOUS HOME RUN WHILE A BATTLE BETWEEN GODS RAVAGES THE ARENA, AND ARRRGGGGHHHBLARGHBLORGHBLERGH *foams from the mouth while fainting from the awesomeness*
I think PMC is happy folks.
I do like how this episode both throws a bone to his fans, while still giving those who love mocking him ample ammunition.
Sure he got his ass kicked badly, but this is a legitimate win for him.
It actually occurs to me....this would have been Champa's win if he'd recruited Yamcha instead of Vegeta or Goten.

To be honest I never understood that meme even after learning more about Dragon ball from other users as well as a few excerpts of the manga. I am baffled at how people can take something as horrifying as Yamcha's death and turn into something memetic but hen again the over 9000 mistranslation error.
He'd never been particularly successful before hand.
Plus, the fandom of any series can be pretty cool. You should have seen how the Bleach Fandom treated Momo Hinamori when the main villain tricked her best friend into stabbing her.
Moms already had a bit of a scrappydom, so people ran with it pretty hard.
Yamcha is just an easy target (plus I suspect a bit of backlash over how hard some people try to defend him).
One Strip! One Strip!I assume part of it is because most people in the west started with DBZ so literally all he was known for was dying super quickly to a mook and being the only one who died to a Saibamen when with everyone else it at least took Nappa.

This is true. There was the brief airing of Dragonball by....I think it was Dic way back when (just before the full airing of Dragonball in fact), but yeah, for many, that was how things started with Yamcha.
One Strip! One Strip!"Most people in the West" seems to be the USA.
From Mexico down south Dragon Ball came first dood, and IIRC, it was the same at least in Spain.

I AM LITERALLY TEARING UP FROM JOY RIGHT NOW. YAMCHA WAS SO AWESOME HERE. THIS EPISODE WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, AND IT SHOULD BE PUT IN A MUSEUM FOR THE WORK OF ART IT IS.
