I always try to time my responses as to
'a people.
I derail this argument to bring you exciting news! Webfoot is currently working on The Legacy of Goku 4!
Well, I wouldn't even say he kickstarted the Android Arc. Most of it would have happened exactly as it did the manga if he'd never come back in time.
He just put things on a slightly different path.
One Strip! One Strip!...because this arc focuses largely on Trunks's perspective, and we spend a great deal of time watching him talk with Mai and the two of them holding onto hope for things to get better? Trunks is the one who set off the chain of events that led to the main antagonist's existence. Trunks is the one whose setting is being ravaged by Black and Zamasu's actions. Trunks is the one who gains new powers in this arc. Trunks is the one who undergoes major character development in this arc while Goku and Vegeta are mainly there as bouncers.
I mean if he isn't the main character then I don't know who is. Maybe not the "main" character but a pivotal one-
Legacy of Goku 4 Legacy of Goku Legacy of Goku 4 wut why how when what shut up and take my money
edit: Ugh. Bleh. No.
The art style. It's... the fun of those games was in the chibi sprite graphics. If you update them to solid 3D-imensional sprites you'll ruin it. Stop.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Its not exactly like in Z because there was explicit focus on other characters besides Trunks, and even then, Trunks is the one who kick starts the arc to begin with.
Just because he's weaker than Goku or Vegeta doesn't mean the story stopped focusing on him.
But the focus wasn't on Trunks for most of the time. And the villains were an evil version of Goku and a kaioshin who became obsessed with Goku after losing a fight with him. If they wanted to convey "this is not like the last time Trunks showed up, this time it's really all about him!" they dropped the ball on that.
That's beside the point, the focus is still primarily on Trunks, even if it does shift to other characters occasionally. I don't really think they failed at conveying Trunks was the primary character of the whole thing, its just that he wasn't the only character involved.
Obviously Goku and Vegeta are major players too, but neither of them really have an arc going on throughout the story like Trunks does.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I dunno, every time I think of the Legacy of Goku series, I flash back to the first one. It reminds me that sometimes, videogame companies make shitty games... turn around, realize they made shit, and then make another one that's way better.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariReally, this is probably going to depend on the manga. Knowing the original story comes from an 'outline' by Toriyama we're probably never going to see, it's only really the overlap that makes us sure as to what was the fault of the story itself and what the fault of Toei adding too much fluff as usual.
Like, I can totally imagine the outline saying "Zamasu fuses but isn't immortal anymore because he merged with the mortal Goku Black, Goku and Vegeta try to fight him but eventually fail, Trunks steps in and finishes him off".
Vegetto felt very shoved-in there last-minute, and so did the whole Trunks Genkidama thing. Like they knew they wanted Trunks to slice him in half, but they weren't exactly sure how they were going to make it happen. So they went all 11th-Hour Superpower Power of Friendship Shojo ending.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!I've never played the first game but Legacy of Goku II and Buu's Fury are amazing games.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Super DBH Gameplay Trailer:
Shows off a ton of new characters and forms, such as Demon Goddess Towa and her soldiers, Demonic Frieza, Time Patrol Vegeks, Merged Zamasu, Oozaru Raditz, Bulma and Zeno.
Also thanks to previous leaks,
we know SSJB Vegetto, SSJ Vegeks and SSJ Raditz are also coming.
The first game's so bad. It takes you forever to accomplish anything, the movement is awkward, and you get killed by fucking snakes.
My various fanfics.I had a fun time with Extreme Butoden and that only had 25 playable characters. Fusions has 270 playable characters, and that's not including any of the hundreds upon thousands of fusions.
I really hope other people in my area get it, I wanna make some wacky streetpass fusions.

I've played all three Legacy of Goku's, and I still own 2 and Buu's Fury and play them occasionally, and while all three do have their bullshit tedium moments (the journey to get to Raditz and the Namekian Temple in 1, the endless fetch quests to get rid of Hercule's parade to unlock Piccolo and finding Gero's lab, including that terrible egg-carrying puzzle in 2, and Babidi's spaceship and Trunks and Goten's quest to get all 7 Dragon Balls from 7 unique dungeons in Buu's Fury), gameplay-wise, mechanics-wise, art-wise, and writing-wise, 2 is miles ahead of 1, and Buu's Fury is a couple steps ahead of 2.
I never beat the first one because I got stuck on Namek. I forget what it was but I never fought Freeza. My game went missing after that and I wasn't able to find a replacement. :(
Yeah but you also get to punch squirrels. All the animals were infected by the Black Water Mist IIRC. This is quite possibly the only time a video game has ever forced me to farm levels by punching and disintegrating squirrels.
And equally amusing moments like Gohan being forced to start a Mr. Satan parade in order to get to Piccolo, who is standing literally ten feet away and Gohan could've easily flown over or pushed his way towards. Ah video game mechanics.
And that BS sidequest where you had to grab all the things so you could play as Hercule.
My favorite thing was using the Scouter option to read everybody's power levels (shut up) and writing them down in a notebook for later analysis. And my other favorite thing was how Goku starts at Level 50 in Buu's Fury so you don't feel like a schmuck for maxing him in the previous game.
