I know that Goku did not spare Freeza because he was merciful and virtuous.
Get this through your head: I am not saying that Goku doesn't get angry, I am not saying he's ultra virtuous or anything of the sort.
I'm saying that Goku has not, not once, gone berserk. And I have no doubt that, had Freeza made a legitimate face turn after getting spared, Goku would've accepted him into his circle of people he likes to fight.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimari"Vegeta. Let's punch them hard."

"Well shit they punch harder than us. Let's go back in."
—
"They punch even harder. Trunks, go punch them pliz."
I really do enjoy this saga though. It has good animations, the story is pretty damn dark and there's the sense of dread that was absent during the earlier arc.

Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitterGoing after Tambourine with no plan whatsoever besides 'kill', the initial transformation into Super Saiyan, Goku tends to fly into a rage when his friends and family are hurt. It usually doesn't last very long, and it's effectiveness varies, but it still happens. It's just not some overblown anime enraged rampage where he's a threat to everyone around himself.
Goku going after Tambourine with no plan besides "find and beat the shit out of him"? Gee, I wonder if that's how he approaches most of his problems...

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariIs that much different from now?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Do we really need this argument?
Not that I'm one to judge people on arguments that have gone on way too long.
One Strip! One Strip! As mentioned, Zamasu/Goku Black went beyond It's Personal. He used Goku's own body to murder his wife and son. The last thing they saw alive was their loved one ripping them in half. Not even Freeza did that.
If any relief to this Nightmare Fuel can be given, it's that thanks to Beerus the destruction Goku Black brought amongst the main timeline didn't happen. The only reason Goku Black still exists is because of that time ring. Of course, his sins in other timelines still happened.
Of course, this raises the question of if he needs to keep wearing the time ring in order to still exist. Granted it'd been really hard to remove it from his finger, but that could be the Achilles' Heel he has.
If Goku's actions remind me of anything, it's the Kaioken X20 against Freeza. You know, where he has that whole speech about how he's going to defeat him for the Earth and Chi-Chi?
...although now looking this up, it looks like that speech was an anime-only thing. But then again, so was this thing in Super.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!I'm still wondering why Zamasu is taking his merry time killing off mortals.
Instead of sipping tea on a patio, he should be cutting fools down.
Else it's going to be a long time before his zero mortals plan is fully complete. He's got plenty of planets to go, in plenty of universes. But he's just dicking around for no reason.
Steven Universe paints a pretty picture, but I don't think Black and Zamasu love each other that much.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I mean, they DID say they had wiped out mortals on a few planets before this, right? Although this episode was implying they were savouring their time on Earth just to draw out Trunks's suffering, as a way of punishing him for abusing time-travel to change history.

It's almost like going back with no plan was an awful idea.
