Okay, I'm saying it: anyone who hasn't seen, read, or is even remotely familiar with the events of the first third of the manga doesn't deserve to call themself a true fan of Dragon Ball. Tropes Are Tools, and I feel this is actually a legitimate usage of No True Scotsman.
There's no such thing as legitimate usage of No True Scotsman. Being illegitimate and illogical is what makes it a fallacy.

The XV2 website updated with two character pages:
The site's roster is incomplete since it's missing pages for some characters like Final Form Frieza, Time Breaker Yamcha, DBS Trunks, etc. Weirdly enough, though, is that Videl seems to have two character slots, for long and short hair versions.
Considering that this roster only shows off different characters, this addition is something that baffles me a ton. Do y'all think it's an error, or is there really gonna be 3 Videls (including Great Saiyawoman) in XV2?
Also, on the Super DBH side of things, here's a couple of pics from the Binder Box Set:
In that second pic, there seems to be a Super Saiyan we've never seen before. The character's hair is big and spiky, they seem to have Time Patrol Vegeta's armor, but they're also wearing black baggy pants and a something long. Do you think this might be...
Time Patrol Vegetto?
Part of me thinks you have a point since, lets be honest, the events of Dragon Ball rarely have any impact on the series unless Toriyama decides to have them have impact. Characters and events are mostly forgotten until he bothers to care (The Red Ribbon Army, Pilaf's gang, etc).
Another part of me thinks that, if you are going to watch a show late in the game, you should at least be aware of things that happened before you started watching a little. Even if you don't look them up. I know about a few things that happened in, say Negima, even if I started really reading the story later on, because these things were mentioned and I asked what they were. I find it hard to believe that some people wouldn't read old summaries and learn about the Mafuuba, or even watch or read the older Dragonball at some point.
I'm gonna go 50/50 on the issue.
One Strip! One Strip!(Four days earlier)
Come on son, the average person I've talked to don't acknowledge Dragon Ball.
Don't mind me, I'm just here sipping on this cup of juice. But that's none of my business.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I am against elitism of any form. Although I do get annoyed how many people claimed to be Dragon Ball fans and they don't know shit about the first third the series. That is how we get BS like people wondering if Goku can read, because they don't know that Goku was reading a porn book just fine during his training with Roshi. Or how people think Mr. Satan and Videl are stronger than all the characters in the original Dragon Ball, when Goku, Krillin, Roshi, and even Bora were tanking bullets from machine guns. Or how Master Roshi blew up the freaking moon.
The Abridge fans who only watched the abridge and call themselves Dragon Ball fans also tick me off. Especially when they put Abridge tropes and characterizations on the main page. I also see fans quoting Abridge as something like people who quote Monty Python. It stops being cute and funny.

Yeah being a fan of one does not make you a fan of the other. As much as people might say Abridged is better (a view that I personally can not understand), it's ultimately a separate product.

I'm actually okay with people only seeing Z. The DB portion comes up so rarely it's basically trivia. I mean, if you want to enjoy the series to its full potential, I highly recommend checking out DB, but it's not that important. The franchise tends to ignore it, even, with only the occasional nod.
SSB 3 might be Quadruple ass-pull power, but it has nothing on Keijo!!!!!!!! Ass-pull power

Watch SymphogearOkay, so there are scans for the episode titles and summaries up to episode 65. And you thought the Mafuba/Evil Sealing Wave being brought up again was a big surprise? Well episode 64's title points to Black and Zamasu fusing to become the "Supreme God Zamasu".
Welp. People calling for the Potara fusions to come back sure got their wish, heh.

Well that just sounds unfair.
I wonder if that means we'll finally get Super Saiyan Blue Vegetto?
