Except he wasn't a SSJ 4 when doing it.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well Budokai Tenkaichi 3 gave us four versions of the damn thing; SS3 End Goku had the Dragon Fist from Movie 13 as his Ultimate Blast, Base GT Goku had the one he used on Super 17 as one of his Blast 2's, SS3 GT Goku had the same one as his Ultimate Blast, though this time with the Kamehameha he used to finish off Super 17, and SS4 GT Goku had the Eis Shenron version as his Ultimate Blast.
Personally, I just call those Dragon Fist Explosion, Dragon Fist, Dragon (Fist) Kamehameha, and Super Dragon Fist, since they all had the same name ingame.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!So I just realized:
Beam Spam attacks in Dragonball never work (the one time it came close to being a threat was when Vegeta used it on Gohan, and even then, he was dodging the attacks even if only just barely).
That's why Piccolo invented the Hellzone Grenade. Since those attacks never do anything (being either dodged, deflected or not doing any damage) he figured that letting them gather up and then setting them off all at once was a better idea.
Sure, the one time he used it, it still failed, but I felt it wasn't a poor idea.
One Strip! One Strip!....Oh right. Forgot about Frieza.
Well, those are different. I always thought that Frieza's finger blasts were more effective due to being smaller, probably faster, and harder to dodge (though Frieza's raw power might have helped on that front).
I mean, Piccolo invented the Special Beam Canon / Makankosappo, which also focuses all the power on the fingers, but charges like a Kamehameha. Freiza's attack was just a quicker version done rapid fire style.
One Strip! One Strip!Or the beam spam Vegeta used on Zarbon to weaken him enough that he could kill him?
The rapid fire ki attacks aren't used much in the manga, but when they are their effectiveness is a mixed bag like any other Ki attack.
It's filler and padding hat makes such liberal use for them since it's both cheap to animate and easy to stretch out episode time. But obviously the filler/padding versions can't have any impact on the fight or it would deviate from the manga.
Thus, due to the anime's overuse, they look like a really ineffective technique.
The beam spam that never works is always constantly used by the weaker characters anyway...so it never even mattered.

Gurda looks like she should be lead Ginyette forcer.

So then where the heck does that leave the move Goku used against Super 17?
This song needs more love.
