Well, I would think he'd remember to go Super Saiyan 2 sooner, but there you go.
One Strip! One Strip!....
Touché. That's actually a very good reason for him to not go Super Saiyan 2 right away. I'm ashamed I never considered that.
I suppose I should blame The Abridged Series. They do such a good job of making fun of stupid moments, that it's easy to miss those times where there are actually good reasons for characters to do certain things.
Though I doubt the writers thought of your explanation either.
One Strip! One Strip!Except fighting Bojack...there'd be no repercussions for SSJ 2 Sadist Gohand.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice."I went SSJ 2, decided to torture Bojack and a stray attack from him killed Piccolo!"
Remember: Gohan's like at most 10 years old at that point. He's not necessarily going to apply much logic to his thought process to defeat his trauma.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimari@Indirect That was not the same damn punch he killed King Piccolo with; he just punched straight the guy in that instance. With Hirudegarn, he did what can only be described as punching forward so hard that he created a lance of fire that transitioned back and forth between that and a gold ki Shenron, pierced through a kaiju, and the ground, and coiled around it like a snake, before finally exploding in a flash a light that may or may not have purified said kaiju.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!
What? Unless that stray blast blew up that whole set...that ain't happening. Everyone else was already knocked out anyway, he didn't have anything to worry about.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. To be fair, he didn't fuck around with Bojack the way he did with Cell. He was damned brutal (as I pointed out earlier, what with punching and kicking minions in half and punching a hole in Bojack's chest, but when it came time to finish him, he did it.
He did learn from the incident with Cell.

Yeah. That's a very easy thing to forget. Though I'd say that's a sign they do a good job with their version...or that I'm just really forgetful. I'm gonna say the first one.
Don't do that man. Don't do it.
One Strip! One Strip!I will admit that, for a while, I completely forgot Sonny Straight's Krillin and could only hear Nick Landis' Krillin.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! He's won all the arguments, we're all just delusional. True facts.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.TFS isn't out there to make a more 'accurate' dub, they're there to make a funnier dub, and while they have cut down significantly on making up stuff from whole cloth, they are not beyond doing it every once in a while for a laugh or two.
While Kaiser does generally seem to at least want to be as close to the original as possible, he's not the only writer and I'm fairly sure he'll compromise accuracy for laughter.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariThen there'll be small minority who complains about the inaccurateness.

I would think that Gohan would remember that.
