So I just heard something interesting. Apparently, the whole "mass revivals only cover the last year" bit is a mistranslation and it's actually "if you're reviving a group of people, they have to have all died within a year of each other". Is this true? I've never heard anyone say this before, which is saying something given how much a stickler for accuracy certain people on this thread are (and that's good), which makes me seriously doubt it.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Yeah, Captain Space mentioned it in a review he left us, and I was really surprised to find that out.
My various fanfics.Doesn't really seem to make a difference.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. For the first one, they have needed Dragon balls though. And for the second one, the ones making the wish didn't know that those villagers who died weren't killed by Frieza.
One Strip! One Strip!Just because Beerus ordered the destruction of Planet Vegeta doesn't mean it detracts from what is, overall, an inconsistent manga. It was supposed to show that despite the comedic villain that Beerus is, he's still technically a bad guy and a constant threat. Plus, Frieza was going to do it anyway. It's LITTERED with errors, retcons, inconsistencies and that's generally because Toriyama doesn't think ahead. You certainly didn't say "Oh, but that detracts from the Journey to the West theme!" when Radditz retconned Goku into being an alien. You didn't say it was inconsistent when they retconned Piccolo Daimao from a demon into just an alien. I mean, we even had the whole "someone killed by a demon can't move on to the afterlife" thing. Was it just Piccolo's evil heart? Wouldn't that mean any villain killing ANY one of the main cast would immediately stop from moving onto the afterlife? If not, why? Cell had Namekian Cells and was just as evil, if not more so, than Piccolo Daimao.
My point remains. It's just meant to be fun so you can be like "Ah, so that's what happened!" True, there were other ways it could have been done but Toriyama has never been the best writer. It's a continuation of a fun, silly action manga. Just enjoy! ;D
The only thing that really interested me was seeing the other Toriyama characters interact with the Dragon Ball ones though, and I don't get why, given all things he's done, they used Dragon Quest twice.
Buldogue's lawyer![]()
The thing you quoted, I have no idea who originally posted it, but being a demon and being an alien aren't mutually exclusive. Piccolo Daimao is an alien demon. He's made from all of the evil in Kami and given physical form.
This is something I see people say a lot and it bothers me.

"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."I wasn't defending Dragon Ball Multiverse, I was defending the posting fan base, or at least one member of said group.
And yes, I get it. Evil half split from god a demon makes. But then, Freezer wants to destroy saiyans out of fear and jealousy isn't mutually exclusive with Beerus wants to destroy saiyans for being hooligans who can't even throw him a proper banquet. The point was...he(she?) made a good point on why super isn't really that bad. It doesn't even cover my issues with super but I don't really think super is that bad in relation to GT or Evolution, even though I think super could be better.
Buldogue's lawyerThe Multiverse comic doesn't call Beerus a sue. It points out how poorly he was shoehorned into previous events to make him appear to have a greater role in the franchise.
It's not an uncommon writing practice at all, and DBM is well within their rights to criticize it.
And I say this as someone who thinks DBM's story quality is quite poor. I might liken reading DBM to stepping on a nail, but that does nothing to excuse the flaws surrounding Beerus' treatment. It's apples and oranges, also both are rotten.
Only the basic-est of the customization will only ever be shown, gotta leave the people hangin' and waitin' to do more.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. There's basic, which would be a generic saiyan in armor, and then there's downright dorky, which is what they create. As in "Gohan looks positively fly when compared to these bozos" kind of dorky.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariWhy are we not talking about the fact that you can ride Tao Pai Pai's piece of concrete pillar?
How is that even possible?
One Strip! One Strip!Oh.
That's what those were.....
Wait. That's still pretty silly, but Tao ripping that thing off in the first place was pretty funny to me, so I'm cool with that.
One Strip! One Strip!

Really I would only extend that to Bra, maybe, which is currently being called into question.
