I prefer that Frieza did it to satisfy his own cruelty.
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!I think we all preferred the agency these characters had before Beerus and Whis showed up. I like the Always a Bigger Fish trope being in play, but I'd prefer it if Beerus and Whis were just "that other Name To Run Away From Really Fast" that few actually knew about.
Like when King Piccolo was a big deal, we find out there was an alien race of space pirates worse than him. Then wel earn they were wiped out and the remainder are, in fact, in service to an even bigger tyrant running a galactic empire. Said tyrant becomes genetic material for an even worse, manmade amalgam of the strongest fighters in the known universe. Then we learn there's another race of deities that could have whomped Freeza no problem, who themselves are terrorized by a demon conjured up by an evil sorcerer (tautology). Then we learn the demon was corrupted by goodness. Then we learn there was a god even stronger than him and that said god has a teacher stronger than him and that there are other universes full of even stronger guys and-
-you get the picture. I mean it sounds ridiculous but it has a certain charm to it. At least then it wasn't "every unanswered mystery was actually Beerus."
Beerus is borderline Canon Sue. Like Toriyama, he forgets small details frequently and treats the destruction of innocent lives like a joke, but we love him anyway.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!![]()
To be fair to Dragon Ball one it themes is that is there is always someone better and there is always someone stronger. It does get ridiculous but it is a theme in the series.

"Mai waifu."I honestly wish Beerus and Whis just took a break for an arc. They seriously feel overused in this series. They were the main point of Bo G, they showed up in RF when they didn't even need to at all, they were the captains of their team in the Uni 6 tournament, and now...they're still here with the Future Trunks stuff? Why? I don't even know why this interests them.
I mean, it seems like they know about this Zamasu stuff, but once that happens, why do they need to keep sticking around? They don't add anything to the story. In fact, all they really do is remove any sort of tension when you realise the only reason all the problems in the plot aren't solved is because they can't be bothered to intervene.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Depending on what happens with Zamasu they could be very relevant to the plot. This is the first time a threat has appeared that could possibly not only involve them, but be a threat to them.
No, I'm not suggesting that Black has the capability to defeat Beerus or Whis, but he does seem to be indicative of some kind of upset in the world of the gods, which up until now has always seemed pretty stable. And Toriyama has hinted a couple of times in the past that there is a threat that will encompass even the gods coming.
If there's build up towards a threat to even the gods, then Beerus and Whis being around could have a purpose.
Remember, unlike Frieza, Black didn't show an ounce of fear when he saw Beerus and Whis. That says a lot about how he viewed their threat.
Now admittedly, it's more likely that he's not fearful because he understand that they won't do shit, but still the fact that they were even there and he did wet himself means he's not worried about them at all, and that's atypical of anyone (barring Goku) who's dealt with Beerus.
Goku at least has the excuse of not knowing about him.
One Strip! One Strip!A webcomic mocked the "Beerus did it !" hype
, the next page is the continuation.
I have no problem with Beerus, personally. He's an amusing character.
Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitter![]()
And considering Beerus was initially going to be the being responsible for making the Saiyans evil, it could have been much worse.
Guys, please don't answer questions if you don't actually know. You'll just mislead people.
There is a distintive difference between Super Saiyan (before mastery) and Super Saiyan Full Power. It's super obvious in the manga, and the guidebooks even pick up on it.
Since I am stuck using mobile data, I can't upload the pictures from my desktop, but if you look at the chapter where future Trunks returns to his timeline and shows off Super Saiyan Full Power to future Bulma you'll get a good look at the Super Saiyan Full Power aura.
So...it's just the aura that's different? How subtle, good work anonymous writer.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.IIRC, there's also some changes appearance wise. Not sure about Super Vegeta/Super Saiyan Grade two, but Ultra Saiyan/Super Saiyan Grade Three is a bulkier version that increases power at the cost of speed. Full Powered Super Saiyan/Super Saiyan Grade Four is basically a mastered version of Super Saiyan with platinum-blonde hair. And originally, Super Saiyan 2 was known as Super Saiyan Grade Five before the Buu arc.
EDIT: Here's a video that can explain this better than I can.

@LO Lypop: Not really, since Beerus and Whis are still relevant to the plot. They also clearly needed them to travel to universe 10 and actually meet Zamasu.
Whis is also Goku's current Master/Trainer.
As for the Freeza thing, Freeza was obviously going to do it either way, Beerus just gave him an excuse.
@Bolded The Multiverse comic has no room to talk. I mean, are they unaware of their hypocrisy there?

Speaking of which, what is with Beerus and Whis and standing off to the side and not giving a damn?

It's more like your boss told you to do something you were going to do anyway. Like when my boss orders me to leave early because there's nothing to do and I'm like "I've already packed my bags, dood".
