Poor Vegeta fans indeed. Still, I'm really happy with this new dragon ball super chapter confirming where Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue stand next to each other. I also like that Goku can enter Super Saiyan God at will.
This new chapter also confirms Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken is a Toei creation, because Toriyama went for Goku mastering Super Saiyan God instead.
Seems Toei just likes Kaioken being used with the Super Saiyan forms.
EDIT: Oh, and we also have proof of Super Saiyan God Goku> Super Saiyan 1 Goku.

Really?
What's the deal with some of the differences between what Toriyama writes and what Toei puts in?
And why wouldn't he use Kaioken? There's even a great way to bring it back.
Ah well. Toriyama just doing what he wants at this point is hardly a shock.
One Strip! One Strip! The last time the "What's canon DBS Super Anime vs DBS Super manga" argument came up, we had no verification how much involvement Toriyama had in either project, and neither was more "canon" than the other. We can't say "Toei did that, that's why it didn't make sense!" like everything else.
And while the Hit fight was apparently different from the manga version, I submit that Super Saiyan God Kaioken is infinitely more awesome than Goku "mastering" Super Saiyan God. How does that even make sense? Goku gains the form, trains with Vegeta, and suddenly his SSG is just "better"?

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I don't deny the hype levels Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken generated, but it doesn't make too much sense how Goku couldn't do it with Full Power Super Saiyan in the Android Saga.
To me, the manga just makes more sense than a lot of the things Toei did in the anime.

To be fair, he does use it with Full Power Super Saiyan during the fight with Pikkon. You can just assume that he figured it wouldn't help too much against Cell and Gohan was strong enough to handle it anyway.
But Goku dropped out of Super Saiyan God during the Beerus fight in Battle of Gods. For him to suddenly regain it now, did that not happen in the manga version?
I was under the impression that form was gone for good. It's neat that Goku mastered it, but I preferred Goku being a boss and beating a timestop. I mean this is a blatant deviation, so now the manga's going to have Goku not use Super Saiyan Kaioken and, what, his SSGB is going to be the "edge" he needs in later fights?
That was Hand Wave'd with Goku talking about how he could only do it with Super Saiyan God and the ki control it provided. Since he absorbed Beerus's energy ball with SSG, I accept the form having strange abilities.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!The Pikkon fight is filler though, everything about the Otherworld tournament is. Toei was just lucky Goku was dead at the time.
In the Super manga, Goku never absorbed the power of SSG. The entire Beerus vs Goku fight had Goku stay in SSG until the very end. He never fought in Base or in SSJ.

Meh, Goku did not use the SSJB X10 Kaioken (IIRC), was still nice to see SSJG.
