It most likely would've.
Nozawa's Goku is just something you have to get used to. It also surprised me at first, but I think I got to a moment where it just kind of clicked and now I really enjoy it. It was probably the moment when I started realising just how unconventional Goku is as a hero compared to what people thought he was. He's nothing like Superman, so having him have an almost Vocal Dissonance voice really adds to that.
Plus, the whole "Nozawa voiced him as a kid and when he grew up, he didn't particularly change, so it makes sense that his voice wouldn't change much, either".
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! That's that creepy Foreign-ese logic...also why are you questioning the belief system?
It makes total sense.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. So, I've decided to start watching Dragonball Super but I'm kind of not really sure I should bother continuing. I just finished the Battle of Gods arc, and I'm not really caring for it so far. I think I'll probably give it another couple of episodes to see if they do original stuff a bit better. But I feel like they did a really terrible job of adapting the movie. Basically because it feels like they padded it out excessively and needlessly. And basically lost all the fast pace and intensity of the movie. Also, I found the battle banter to be better in the movie, but I'm not sure how much of that was translation differences between the movie dub I watched and the fansubs.
Also, as far as I'm aware there's not a dub yet? and I'm not a fan of the Japanese voices, like at all. They're bearable, but they're not really working for me.
Also also while the Super Saiyan God ritual was much more impressive in the show then the movie, I can't help but feel that made the underwhelming Super Saiyan God appearance even worse. They spent like 10 minutes on this pretty fancy light show, and now Goku has red hair wooooooo.
So like does the non-movie stuff have better pacing? Or is this just going to end up not being my cup of tea? I want to say the original anime had better pacing then Dragon Ball Super, but its been so long since I watched it I don't know how much of that is nostalgia and/or DBZ Abridged messing with my memories.
I suppose it probably also doesn't help that I wasn't a fan of them adding in that "They're going to destroy the universe if they keep fighting" thing. It just feels so pointless especially since given how DB functions with its power level escalation.
Click Click Boom BoomVoice Actors may not carry the same level of respect in the west as in Japan, but re-call that up until he was replace by Matthew Lillard Casey Kasem was alway Shaggy.
Re-call they got Peter Cullen to return as Optimus Prime for both the movies and Transformers Prime.
And there are plenty of other examples of old voice actors returning to iconic roles as well. Those two are unfortunately, the only examples I can re-call off the top of my head, but I'm near positive there are others.
One Strip! One Strip!Dust and/or pieces of paper with list on them?

Poppycock I say!
Only Lint can provide the proper pocket filler!
ONLY. LINT.
One Strip! One Strip!Seriously though, only a small percentage of voice actors in Japan get both anything more than more recognition, as voice actors are paid per recording session rather than having a regular monthly pay rate. More exposure means more chance to get parts in more shows, which leads in getting paid more, and so on and so forth.
I mean, we all laughed at Sore Ga Seiyuu, but much like Shirobako much of what was shown in it is based on actual practices in the industry.

Voice actors in America really aren't that much better off from what I've heard. If you want to live off of voice acting alone, you have to be in damn near everything.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Count me in among those who don't care for goku's seiyuu. Like, there are times when you can cast a woman as a man and have it work out (almost every young boy ever), but this is not one of those times. The "goku's a kid at heart so his VA stays the same" isn't really an acceptable line of reasoning to me.
Hmm the slice of life type episodes after the Battle of Gods arc are alright, some of the humor isn't really my cup of tea, and Hercule's glory hogging is certainly getting old. (Also I do prefer Hercule to the original Mr. Satan name.) But their still alright.
Looks like I'm about to start the Resurrection of F saga, so I guess I'll see if I find that more palatable then their take on Battle of Gods.
I will say the training/chores Goku and Vegeta go through were quite entertaining.
