I could tell they were wolves, but it could've been just a cool background deet.
They're aren't purple with red eyes, they're blue with lightning surrounding them. No association.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Yeah, it's a bit hard to make out. I actually thought it was a sprite image until I saw the source art.
Spiffy picture, though.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Wow. That thing with Captain America is gonna be pissing people off for a while isn't it?
One Strip! One Strip!I thought he once wanted to put Gohan in the spotlight.
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered! He did. And for a while Gohan was there.
Then he nerfed him, powered him back up, and in the middle of all that, he decided that he liked writing Goku better and had Gohan completely botch the fight with Super Buu in order to lead up to Goku once again being the hero.
One Strip! One Strip! To be fair, I kind of understand why they're not doing anything with Gohan. His character always used to be "that kid who had the potential to be great and would probably surpass Goku one day". That stopped becoming his character the moment Toriyama decided/realised he's the kind of person who'd rather study than fight. You can't make the strongest, more reliable fighter the one who doesn't want to fight, especially if Goku is still around.
I dunno about Goten and Trunks, though. Their lack of relevance in Super has been really surprising me. I mean, they're featured a lot on merchandise and stuff because they're the kid characters. Think about how much they were in all the Buu Saga movies.
But some of the spoilers suggest they might actually help next episode defeat this filler villain, and then there's the new arc, so...who knows?

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Trunks is going to help Goten help Goku defeat the purple Vegetable?
Even though they were useless? Wow, good use.
Dragon Ball Super really does like having characters do this "K-kch" sound...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I dunno how to classify this arc. It's Filler, but not actually Filler...
It's definitely trying to pad out time, but I don't even know WHY they want to pad out time. I was thinking maybe to time this new arc with the merchandise seasons. (Like, Precure is in Sixth Ranger season right now, and I'm assuming that happens to a lot of shows like this at around this time of the year.)

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Yes, but everyone would've died anyway...Goten Trunks were gone for like two years.
But they did do a good job making Goku realize that relying on children to save the Uni-world is a bad idea. They weren't even stronger than Super Boo.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Welp, my excitement just went from Kaioken to SSJGSSJK Kx 10.
Seriously though, that looks cool.
I'm also assuming there was an offscreen wish somewhere that actually made the Pilaf Gang younger, and their chibi appearance isn't just for show.

Yeah, it's hard to see what's in the picture. I just though those were blue clouds.
