Man, I remember those days. There was a Vegeta AMV to the song In The End that I really liked in high school. It really resonated with me then.
Now it just seems whiny. Both the song and the character. They're good picks for each other.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I like pretty much all of Linkin Park's music. I know it's basically an Acceptable Target because of how often it's used with popular anime, but I don't think it's bad.
Half of it falls into So Bad, It's Good, about a quarter of it is So Okay, It's Average, and the remaining quarter is actually good. Say one thing, I can't think of a single Linkin Park song that's So Bad Its Horrible.

I like it too, I just liked it better when I didn't understand the lyrics very well and, consequentially, could remain blissfully ignorant of how many songs they have that are basically raging at the singer's father or somesuch.
Like, I liked Breaking the Habit better when I didn't know that it was about a self-perpetuating cycle of using substance abuse to numb the pain from the domestic disturbances the narrator causes while intoxicated. Not exactly the awesome battle tune I once saw it as.

He's not an impressive fighter by the standards of Goku and his crew but he doesn't need to be. He's a figurehead. The face of Earth's defenders.

The real question is if he could fight the gods of Saint Seiya.

Watch SymphogearSo I've seen some fics and comics and fanart of Future Pan, and I'm curious about how plausible or possible it actually is? Like, Videl and Gohan are the same age, so presumably Videl existed in the future timeline. There were still some humans, and Gohan kept trying to save people. With not much success. But still some.
I dunno what Future Gohan's personal life was like or to what extent he had one. He didn't seem to spend much time at home with Chichi. Trunks spent most of his time with him training, but they weren't together all the time either.
I'm not big on the idea of soulmates or the idea that people are somehow destined to be together, but I also like the concept that the more things change the more they stay the same.
Like, between 17 and 18 and Cell the odds are bad. But not impossible, I don't think? I'm pretty sure Gohan and Videl in that timeline would have been older than they currently are in Super when Gohan died, judging by Trunks's age and height.
Pan was born in Age 779, Future Gohan died in Age 780. So any alternate timeline version of Pan would have already been a year old. Ish. Depending on when in the year she was born and when in the year he died.
I think Babadi would still have gone to Earth, but wouldn't have found enough energy so he would have taken Buu's cocoon and left.
I dunno whether Beerus would still have gone to Earth. Like, the last living half-Saiyan is there, but mostly Whis tells him about Goku, who was dead. So maybe they would just have gone to King Kai's.
I don't think Future Marron is likely to have been born unless Future 18 did something horrific. Which I don't think is terribly likely. Not that I think she wouldn't have, but I think Krillin wouldn't have lasted long enough to get to that point. Pretty sure he died on the first day.
Future Goten and Future Bra wouldn't be things.

I could totally believe Future Pan existing and Trunks just never meeting Videl or Pan. Gohan was busy trying to stop the Androids. He didn't make a lot of social calls.
It is a bit contrived that Gohan and Videl would find each other in a completely different future but that's a Necessary Weasel you just sort of accept with these kinds of stories.

Like, I wouldn't be surprised if Goku's growth spurt lasted a month.
Saiyan biology is seemingly designed to minimize and skip the gangly awkward periods of puberty because that potentially gets in the way of fighting. Just get it over with.
Saiyan childhood is long, and puberty is short, and then prime adulthood is long again, and I can only assume old age is also short.

Yeah, that probably would be the case.
King Vegeta was probably the oldest living Saiyan.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. To be fair, we really don't know what their culture was like before they were folded into the PTO. And they were only part of the PTO for 6-9 years, depending on if you go by Bardock or Minus.

That'd be like 2001 tho. Were there AMV's back then?
