So the latest episode. Magetta is awesome.
Champa's plan is to isolate Vegeta at the top of the arena and have Magetta burn all the oxygen in the place, leaving Vegeta at the top suffocating while Magetta breathes and burns fine at the bottom because of the gaps between the arena and outside. What's most impressive, though, is that GOKU FIGURED IT ALL OUT FIRST!
Gallick Gun?! Vegeta landed on a tiny pebble of the broken arena!!! Vegeta shattering the barrier by powering up was cool and then the Final Flash! Magetta fought well. Good fight.
Boiling intelligence down to numbers is a gross oversimplification. And you may be intelligent yet ignorant about a certain topic. In fact, a sign of intelligence is being aware of one's limitations.
If this is going to turn into a Hit sweep, I'd say the tournament should have started with Piccolo, with him beating Botamo, and putting a decent fight with Frost, then poison happening.

I don't know how they'd be able to reconcile his inability to fly with flight being a necessary prerequisite for all characters in a Dragon Ball game. Honestly, Vegeta vs Magetta might be my favorite fight in all of Super, so far. Only Godku vs Beerus comes close, and that fight dragged a little. Cabba and Hit would need to be something REALLY special to replace Magetta in my heart after THAT fight!
@First Part: And that's something I fully acknowledge and agree with you on.

They fall eventually...don't want that.
Dragon Ball Fusions, the 3DS RPG where you get to fuse characters together. So far, confirmed fusions are:
- Goten + Kid Trunks = Gotenks
- SSJ4 GT Goku + SSJ4 GT Vegeta = SSJ4 Gogeta
- SSJ Goku + LSSJ Broly = Whatever the hell Karoly's transformation is.
- Krillin + Piccolo = Prilin
- Krillin + Kid Goku = Gorilin
- Krillin + Kid Gohan = Krigohan
- Tien + Yamcha = Tiencha
- Future Trunks + Scouter Vegeta = ???
- Videl + GT Pan = ???
- Mr. Satan + Majin Buu = ???
Chiaotzu, Lazuli, Adult Gohan, Great Saiyaman and Buu Saga Vegeta are also in the game, so I'm guessing they'll have fusions as well. Can't have a fusion game w/o Vegetto, am I right?

Pretty cool fight, Magetta proved to be a much more interesting fighter than I expected. It was bit weird tho that first Vegeta wasn't even able to overpower his lava stream with a Galick Gun and then pushed it back simply by powering up.
Next episode how is Cabba able to fight evenly with Vegeta? How did that pipsqueak become so strong?
Looking forward to this ep.
No longer caring about the Humans are awful/humans aren't awful conversation, and neither should the rest of you.
If there was ever a discussion that needs to be shanked, it's this one.
One Strip! One Strip!Literally everything about Super diminishes Uub, the only non-caricature person of color in Dragon Ball history.
My various fanfics.I mean.
I wouldn't call it caricature.
But. The image of a starving Indian boy (from India, I mean) isn't exactly uncommon? I've seen a fair number of charity commercials about it and donating to causes to help. Africa too.
Which is fair because India's had a lot of famines over the years because of how badly they were fucked by the British. Like, helping them out is totally fair. Same with Africa. That whole continent was also fucked by imperialism. To a massive degree.
But it's not exactly a completely novel image either.
It's also. Y'know. Been done before. By Nam. Nam and Uub have basically the same backstory.
Again, not passing judgment on that. Not sure I would call Nam a "caricature" either.
But.
It's.
Like, if a "caricature" is a "stereotypical cultural image that exists fairly widely and is inaccurate, generalizing, reductive, self-reinforcing and actively harmful towards the group in question" then the thing with Nam and Uub is just "a cultural image that exists fairly widely".

... You're aware that he was saying that Uub isn't a caricature, right?
Though the fact that both of the indian-inspired people in the manga both came from villages in severe need does not speak well of Toriyama's opinion of India.
