Toriyama could have just said Piccolo improved it so he could do it with both hands without losing too much power.
While what Toei did can be irking, there are a lot of things Toriyama could have done on his end to fix it.
One Strip! One Strip! What really happens is that he thought the audience forgot about her.
He also might have gotten rid of her so there'd be no confusion between her personality switches and Super Saiyan (gets blonde hair and green eyes just like a super saiyan).
Of course, I'm wondering why he stopped drawing her in the first place.
One Strip! One Strip!I remember how she and Tien had a thing... but then the last anyone saw of her was her grieving in a bar over his death.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Actually, from what I remember, Tien and Launch actually got together at the end of everything, mostly due to Launch being a constant presence in his life in the years following the farm he and Chiaotzu opened.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!I mean, Technically, Piccolo DID win. Because Frost got disqualified. But, yeah, seriously, Vegeta making Piccolo step down is actually such a dick move. I don't know if I'm just saying this because now I have some subconscious grudge against Vegeta, but if the plot doesn't acknowledge this is a stupid decision...I don't see why Vegeta is allowed to get a free ride. Because he got 'cheated' in Resurrection 'F'?
Seriously, I am getting sick of everyone saying "Vegeta was cheated from killing Freeza!" I don't think it would have good character development for him at all. If you really wanted to show how he'd change, wouldn't you make him not kill Freeza? Just killing his enemies and getting revenge sounds like something pre-character development Vegeta would do.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! But he was, by the same out of character flaw that he got JUST for Ro F.
If Piccolo can beat Frost is there actually any question that Vegeta can? From that perspective it doesn't really matter. And it just sounds like Vegeta wants to beat him in a way that Piccolo just can't. I'm not really sure if that counts as "Character Development" or not, though.

That's what people kept saying about RF. They were saying how Vegeta killing Freeza would be good character development. Like, the reason he wasn't able to kill Freeza and avenge his race and years of servitude was because he was a dick, and now he's...not as much of a dick, so he deserves the chance to kill the guy who destroyed his life.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!:/
Actually I guess if Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz weren't complete dicks, they would've grabbed Tarble and Kakarot - and either Tarble and Gure's half-Saiyan offspring or Gohan - summoned the Super Saiyan God, and ended Frieza's rule.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Actually, now that I think about it, some of the people who wanted Vegeta to get the kill in RF are probably the people who wanted him to kill Freeza in the first place. And Cell. And Buu.
Because, you know, a character's worth is decided entirely by how many main villains they kill.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! There was also the brutal beating Freeza gave Vegeta on Namek and killing him. People wanted Vegeta to finally get a chance at retribution.
That last episode of Super got me pretty pissed.
So, Piccolo wins against a stronger opponent, both in strategy and according to the rules... And Vegeta makes him step down because he wants to go on a ego trip? Like, that's not even Freeza. That's just some other douche who looks like him. Frost didn't even genocide his Saiyans.
It's like the series is trying to give Vegeta the spotlight, but only makes him look worse in the process.
Other than that, the fight was pretty cool to see. Certainly better than the rushed fights we got in the previous episode. In fact, this might be the first time I have good things to say about the animation in Super.
It's a shame to hear Super is still a dud; I was hoping getting to original content would be a shot in the arm, though I don't watch it. Everything I hear about it says it's just shallow nostalgia-bait that doesn't understand what made the original so great. The letter but not the spirit, if that makes sense.

Too bad it was such an stand-out scene that it was used in...then this never would've happened.
