I thought it was hilarious actually. After months of 'U6 is the good universe' and all the hints that Frost is Frieza's Good Counterpart and a super hero, Toiyama pulls the rug out from everyone and reveals that Frost is an evil sneak. Toiyama says he loves trolling fans and this is the biggest troll of them all so far. I have to applaud the man. He knows how to make the fanbase rage.
Eh, [ I'm kind of ok with this, its a subversion of a subversion, although it is a bit of a letdown that Frost isn't actually benevolent. It kinda reduces all of Freiza's race to Always Chaotic Evil which isn't very interesting tbh.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. What excuse? He wanted to make Frost evil so he made him evil. Although he probably did do it since he heard from fans that they wanted to see a good member of Frieza's race so he made someone just as evil to be a troll.
He says in interviews that when fans ask or demand him to do something, he goes out of the way not to do it. He killed Vegeta on Namek simply because fans asked him not to kill him. He drew his characters with more angles after fans wanted him to go back to his round designs. This guy likes to spite his fans.
Also, we've only seen two members of Frieza's race in Toriyama's canon. Frieza and King Cold are part of the same family, so both of them being bastards isn't surprising. Frost seems to be another example of Frieza's race being mutants who are unnatural cruel. If we do see a good member of Frieza's clan, they probably won't be as strong as Frieza or Frost.

Whis' time travel wasn't an Ass Pull since it was foreshadowed early in the movie and it is no more contrived than the Dragon Balls. Vegeta was the one who messed up and not kill Frieza when he had the chance. You snooze, the evil tyrant blows up your planet, and you lose.
I don't know starting wars that kill millions and swooping down like some kind of savior to 'save' people before selling their war-torn planet sounds a bit worse than Frieza. With Frieza, you know he's an evil bastard and he doesn't hide it. With Frost, he a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing who pretends to be a hero. I would rank Frost a bit worse base on that.

When did Whis foreshadow time travel powers?
Also, he was a supposedly neutral being....yet here he is, reversing time to save Goku's skin.
Frieza won that fight, fair and square.
And I wouldn't jump to Frost being worse than Frieza. That's a bit reactionary. He isn't even nearly as bad as Frieza. At least Frost does this shit and fixes it, Frieza genocides entire races for the lulz. Frost gives a shit about his public appearances, implying some form of self-awareness, Frieza doesn't even have that going for him.

Whis outright says within the first 20 minutes of the movie that he can rewind time. So him rewinding time when the Earth blows up didn't come out of nowhere. An Ass Pull would be if we didn't know Whis had this power until the Earth was destroyed.
Also, only Beerus said he was neutral. Whis said nothing. He also gave his reasons, at least in the movie. He wanted a feast. Frieza also didn't win fair and square. He cheated first by having Sorbet shoot Goku when he lost. So Goku cheating right back is fair to me. Besides, all fair in war and Frieza had the bad luck of not making friends with the God of Destruction.
Frost starts wars and play hero before selling the planets he ruins. He probably ruined just as many lives as Frieza, all the while his victims call him a hero. He's worse because he's an evil person who hides in plain sight, while Frieza is wide opened about his dickery. I personally find a mass-murderer being hailed as an universal savior to be disgusting since he's own victims think he's a hero, without knowing that he destroyed their lives all for boaster his name and get money.

You know, looking at the Episode 35 preview, a lot of stuff seems to be going on. I almost feel like the tournament format has already started to unravel. I assumed the tournament was going to end prematurely when shit got real, but I wasn't expecting it to happen THIS soon.
I mean, we have Hit actually showing off his power, Beerus and Champa facing off, Magetta doing...something, and...I don't even know. It's honestly really intriguing.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!![]()
I honestly forgot about Whis explaining that, my bad.
But, you don't find it odd that Beerus tolerates Whis' interference with the fight? I know Whis is stronger, but doesn't that go against Beerus' wish of neutrality? He is there to serve and guide Beerus, not just go against what he wants on a whim.
You're right, it was a war, Frieza didn't cheat by having Sorbet shoot Goku. He was thinking tactically, and it was also a tactical decision to destroy the Earth. Unfortunately, I agree with you again; Frieza didn't have Whis on his side..so eh. What can a galactic emperor do against those odds?
Hiding that your evil isn't anymore evil than just being outwardly evil.

Stopping a problem you purposely cause doesn't make you the better person than someone just does it because that's the type of person they are. If your reason for stopping the problems you cause is reaping the public benefits, that actually makes you a worse person.

I disagree. Evil is evil, but I'm still more inclined to believe Frost is better than Frieza. It was mentioned that Frost partakes in peacekeeping work, regardless of his other motives. The fact of the matter is, Frost causes wars and aids in the rebuilding effors, but hides behind a facade. Frieza destroys stuff....and sells the planets. And doesn't care what anybody else thinks. I'm not sure how that makes Frieza a "better" person just because he lays all of his cards on the table. But that's just my opinion.

Beerus really can't control Whis. Whis does whatever he wants, like training Goku and Vegeta behind his back. Beerus didn't care in the end since he got a bunch of food out of the deal, so he's happy. He also didn't like Frieza and openly mused about killing him himself in Battle of Gods. To Beerus, Frieza is just another scumbag he doesn't have to deal with.
No, it's a cheat. Goku and Frieza had a one-on-one match, which Frieza broke the moment he had Sorbet shoot Goku. After that, all bets were off. Frieza pretty much said anything goes and so Goku cheating is perfectly fair.
Have to disagree. Frieza ruined lives, but he didn't have people worship him as a hero and savior, while he sell his victims' homes. Frost talks about saving children and fighting for others, while he murders them wholesale for his reputation and fame is new low for villains in this series. That is how I personally feel about it.
'The fact of the matter is, Frost causes wars and aids in the rebuilding effors, but hides behind a facade'. He causes the wars that kills millions. Him cleaning up afterwards and posing with children of the parents he murdered doesn't make him better than Frieza by a long shot. It makes him worse because on top of being a mass-murderer, he's a lying scumbag.

Frieza doesn't have to adhere to Earth's concepts of "fairness" and "honor".
And even if he did, Frieza never technically said it was a one-on-one battle. Vegeta could've jumped in anytime he wanted, though I assume Frieza would've just instantly nuked the planet if that had happened.
And I know what Frost has done. The guy is obviously evil. It's just based on what we've seen so far, Frieza is worse. We still *barely* know Frost. And btw, Frieza is a lying scumbag too. So you can't say that Frost is worse for it, when Frieza lies all the time (for example, blatantly lying to Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta on how their planet was destroyed). Also, Frieza is a coward who jumps at the first chance to kill someone whenever their guard is down. At least Frost showed some form of self-restraint.

Wow, poor Cabba. He must be heartbroken to know that someone he fought with and trusted was one of the bad guys. What is more horrifying is that Vados recruited Frost and back his story about being a peace-keeper. Really makes you wonder about her character.
You're right, Frieza doesn't adhere to fairness and honest. So, it is perfect fair when Whis rewinds time. You can't say Goku cheated by using Whis, but Frieza won fairly when he had Sorbet shoot Goku. Both used people around them to get ahead. It's just Whis was much more useful than Sorbet.

Yeah, honestly, before this episode I was considering asking which, if any, of the U6 team would turn out to be evil. I guess we have our answer. Though considering how shocked and angry Cabba and Champa were, and how, in the next episode preview, Hit appears to be breaking the universe in rage at Frost, we can write at least those three off as good.
