I was just going to say, don't trust the manga translation. Especially when they start swearing.
Looking this up, apparently Goku only originally says "Geez, that guy…"
In other news of 'people speculating way too much', some people seem to believe that Goku threw the match against Frost on purpose. Because Frost is a nice guy. Because THAT makes sense for Goku.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! That was completely different.
I too, believe Goku would never throw a fight. He'd only give up if he thought there was no chance of winning (and he knew someone else could do what he couldn't).
Now, Frost did give a slight smile at the moment when Goku first got infected, but it's still up in the air if he really knew or not.
We'll know soon enough.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, Frost's grin could just have been noticing an opening or it could've been a smile at how effective his poison/pressure point was. Either way, it's not cheating if the hole in Frost's arm does end up being a retractable poisonous stinger. Jaco noticed it, whatever it was, so we'll get our answers next week.
Thank you for clearing up Goku's statement about Gohan. I figured that was the case since fan translations are infamous for spicing up the script. I still finds his criticism of Gohan to be harsh and OOC for him, especially since Gohan's absent is work related and isn't like he blew them off for no reason.
As for Broly, I wouldn't mind him being introduce, just so Vegeta can one-shot without even trying and not even bothering transforming. He then walks away from Broly wondering who that loser was. The outcry online would be the stuff of legend and the Broly's fanboys tears will sustain me for years. (I actually don't mind Broly so much as a character, but the amount of Character Shilling he gets from the fans and the video game companies make me want bad things to happen to him and kill the myth that Broly can defeat everyone in the universe).

By the way, about Frost's technique, I found this little and funny tidbit over at Asuki:
In Xenoverse, Frieza Race characters could shoot a small, quick ki arrow and if it hit, it stunned/incapacitated the enemy.
Frieza never displayed such an ability though.
I wonder why? Maybe his mutation left him unable to do so.
Cold didn't use it either, but he may not have gotten the chance to try.
One Strip! One Strip! If this stun technique is part of Frieza's race, why didn't Frieza or King Cold ever use it? I am certain if Frieza knew a stun technique he would use that instead of relying on Sorbet to shoot Goku or King Cold 'borrowing' Trunks' sword to kill him with it.
It would an interesting nod to Xenoverse if this is true, but I wouldn't used that as certain evidence, especially since no one within Frieza's race, at least in Toriyama's canon, have that kind of technique.

Well, I just brought it up since Frieza having a stun technique would have done him a world of good in his rematched against Goku. He had no problem playing dirty. And Frieza has shown to be more capable than Frost in many ways after his revival, mostly because he really wanted to kill Goku.
And Dragon Ball video games are known for making stuff up too.

Outside of canonizing Bardock, Toriyama doesn't really go for non-canon stuff though.
Given the chance to use anything Toei comes up with, or his own stuff, he always just does his own thing, so it's doubtful he's using something from the games...
Wait. How much involvement does he have in Super again? I keep forgetting.
One Strip! One Strip! The only thing we know is that he did the storyboard and character designs for U6. His involvement with the manga is questionable, but if it is anything like Resurrection 'F', he had no involvement in it and the manga is just adapting the story script and adding its own flares. If you read the Resurrection 'F' manga there are subtile differences between it and the movie, and the movie is much closer to Toriyama's original script.
As for TOEI adapting the movies, I honestly think they did it because they are aware that their target audience for Super, which is mostly children, most likely never saw the movies and didn't want them to feel like they've been locked out. It is frustrating for those who saw the movie, but I understand why they did it.

So show the movies in the "Super" time slot, cut for television. Problem solved! You've got basically everything in between the two films and between the defeat of the small Buu and first to do anything until Toriyama's done with the content that actually moves the plot forward. So go episodic and treat the movies like big specials and just reuse them. Or work them in some other way. I'd like to think the people who do this kind of thing for a living and supposedly take pride in their work could come up with an infinite amount of better ideas but apparently not.

Goku calling Gohan a little shit was hilarious.
