The room must be able to tell when something is inside it, otherwise that doesn't make sense.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The rule makes sense. Toriyama probably didn't want characters abusing it too much.
Though he then came up with the Vice shout thing, so guess what? Now they can abuse it anyway.
One Strip! One Strip! It's a shame the Room has that rule, too.
Given both Goku and Vegeta's gains in the seven years before the Buu Saga, Vegeta's "train for 9 days" plan would probably have worked out great if the door didn't disappear.
Especially if they could build a Gravity Chamber inside the room, because 10x gravity has been So Last Season since Namek.

I understand the reason the rule exist for narrative purposes, I just thought the limited time to use it could've had a better reason...
You can only use it for two years maximum, it can recognize when any individual thing is inside it and even when only spending one year inside...the room still recognizes you if you go back inside.
Sentient Room is probably the real reason.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. My headcanon is that Super Saiyan Blue is the same multiplier of SS 1, except that Goku's base is now 50 times weaker than he was as a Super Saiyan God. All gains over Super Saiyan God are from Whis' training.
I don't think multipliers matter anymore. -.-
Goku's a 6, Beerus is a 10, Whis is 15, and the Kids Next Door don't recognize any of them.
And if it were still being multiplied, SS'3 Version Blue would probably walk all over Beerus, and we can't have that.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!- GOKU: We've achieved Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan!
- VEGETA: What's the difference between this and Super Saiyan God?
- GOKU: It's blue!
- VEGETA: What.
- GOKU: Well, you got all pissy about wanting to become a Super Saiyan God without the ritual. That's not actually possible. It's a magic power-up, not a transformation; that's like saying you're going to master the Old Kai's Unlock boost without visiting him.
- VEGETA: Well, I did it anyway!
- GOKU: No, you didn't. We did the ritual while you were sleeping so you wouldn't feel bad about banging your head against the Gravity Chamber wall and getting nowhere.
- VEGETA: You have five seconds to pacify my burning rage.
- GOKU: But we also knew you'd be pretty upset after we told you this, so Whis used Cosmic Hair Dye to change the color of our Super Saiyan forms. You've always liked blue, and now we both turn blue!
- VEGETA: Hmm. You know what, seeing you wearing my colors every time you transform is kind of worth it. Rage pacified.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.All I know is that Vegeta is whatever number Goku currently is at any given time, except one higher.
I'd get a kick out of that being the actual reason.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!To be fair, Super Saiyan Blue, even if it was the same multiplier as Super Saiyan God, would still be superior to it since there's no longer a time limit added on to the form, along with the fact that it doesn't seem to require some time for the user to fully tap into its power, unlike what happened with Super Saiyan God in Super. It's basically the equivalent of Vegito vs Gogeta; Vegito is superior since there's no time limit to the state like there is for Gogeta, and by consequence, Vegito isn't decreasing his time limit massively like Gogeta would if they both used Super Saiyan 3.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!See, I'll always see the two as being equals in terms of strength, but in terms of utility, Vegito is superior since a) there's no time limit to the fusion, b) there's no time limit to using the fusion again, and c) the fusion time limit isn't shortened drastically due to Super Saiyan 3; hell, Super Saiyan God would probably make the fusion last for less than a minute.

Old Kai mentioned it in passing, when saying why Potara was better fusion.
Which isn't that much of an advantage when you factor in that Vegito would still suffer the immense power drain. Neither combatant could use Super Saiyan 3 for a prolonged period of time; the only main difference is that when Vegito gets kicked out into base, he's base Vegito and not base Goku and Vegeta.
Assuming both forms were equal in power, an opponent that can't be defeated by SS 3 Gogeta before the form's drawbacks forfeited the fight for them, probably couldn't be beaten by SS 3 Vegito either.
But on the whole, yes, not having a time limit is objectively superior to having a time limit.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Plus, as mentioned before, if you can't kill the fuck out of something with Ssj 3 in seconds, while using any form of Fusion, you're pretty much fucked anyway.
One Strip! One Strip!

Did that rule even come up in the manga itself? I don't really remember it.
