To be fair, I don't blame him.
Dragon Ball had already had very inflated power escalation and then they went and cranked that dial up to eleven.
I think Toei was just sore that Naruto outdid them in power escalation. It seems angry fanboys exist all the way up in the industry, huh?

Toriyama doesn't write the manga, the guy that made the most famous version of Dragon Ball AF does. Basically, Toriyama has merely been watching what Toei has done both manga and anime wise.

Watch SymphogearWell anyone as strong as Buuhan can apparently collapse the universe so long as the can A)find enough of its dimensional barriers, B)punch through them before someone as strong as Vegito stops them.
Since Buuhan is, like, 99.7% weaker than Beerus, we know he can do it. The problem is the only dimensional barrier we've ever seen is the entrance to the room of spirit and time. But still, they've covered part A) and then some. They could probably use the Dragon Balls to find out where the rest of part B) is.
I wonder what a collapsed universe would look like? Would it turn all of existence into wherever the room of spirit and time leads to? Would it transform Dragon Ball into Game & Watch? Would it allow Majin Buu to be on team Beerus?

Buldogue's lawyerAgain, Toyotaro is only credited for the illustrations for the Super manga; Toriyama is credited for the actual story. Hell, Toriyama probably has more creative input for the manga at this point, only because of all the 6th Universe stuff that is happening currently.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!![]()
Astro Boy was actually one of the inspirations behind Goku.
The whole "Goku was inspired by Superman" has actually always been another Fanon thing. If you look up interviews with Toriyama, the only inspirations he really lists are Journey to the West (obviously), Osamu Tezuka's work, and Disney movies.

Their dialogue. It is very stilted.
The acting is horrible.
The special effects are meh even for a fan production.
I don't know what the hell's up with Nappa or Raditz.
I stopped at the Kayo Ken because that level of laziness doesn't fly with me.
Honestly, The Light of Hope is proof enough for me that Dragon Ball can work in live action (my biggest problem with it from that aspect is that there are way too many jump cuts). That, however, proved yet again that it takes a special kind of talent to pull it off and not many people possess that talent.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Oh wait that's from 2012.
Here's a video from the same guys released 2 months ago.
No it didn't. Toei was already working on Battle of Gods, approached Toriyama with ideas like Super Saiyan God and Beerus in place, and brought him on board. He then rewrote Watanabe's script.
He's talking about two separate incidents of him being unhappy with other people's work on the franchise - then following it up with a third, Dragon Ball Super.
People also misinterpreted one of his comments before BOG aired as that he created BOG because Evolution was so poor, but what he said was that he tried his best on BOG to make up for Evolution.
Okay. That makes me feel better.
I would hate to have to be grateful to Evolution for anything.

I want to see Watsuki's Dragon Ball. I loved that guy's artwork.

Apparently, Toriyama is (Ironcially enough) a big fan of Suoerman, and he hated how Toei tried to make Super Saiyan God Goku and Beerus Universe busters.
