Yamcha's a nice enough guy, he's just not on the level of any other character in the series.
I'm reasonably certain he could take Mr. Satan in a fight. I stake decent odds on it.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I think that he at least got stronger than the Ginyu Force, bar the cap'n himself. He's possibly much stronger than that as well, maybe even surpassing a couple of Freeza's forms, but the only thing that support that are a few light implications around the time of the androids, and since he has no feats, it's hard to tell.
Also, Krillin saving that girl from Cell was filler. If you count that, you'd also have to count Yamcha's fight with Recoome... then again, that would still be a net gain for Krillin in this pissing contest...
And yeah, Krillin's one of my favorite characters on part of his gigantic titanium balls. I have no idea how he drags those things around.
Well he did get stronger between the Freeza Saga and the Android Saga.
I'd like to put him at Recoome's level of power by then.
Recoome, Guldo, Burter and Jeice all had a power level below 60, 000, but above Vegeta's 30,000.
It is conceivable that Krillin ended up stronger than them.

How is that possible?
Vegeta was around a power level of 30,000 when he fought Recoome?
And Krillin was even weaker than that. So how'd he jump 60, 000 points in the course of a single fight? Unless you're going to tell me that Krillin is also half-saiyan.

The Elder's hidden power power up had a delayed effect. Same thing happened with Gohan; Vegeta stated that Gohan and Krillin were still rising massively in power at the beginning of the Freeza fight.
V-Jump gives us the following levels for Krillin on Namek:
Arrival- ~1,770
First getting power up- 13,000
Fighting Ginyu-Goku- >23,000
Before fighting Freeza- 75,000
No official number exists for his power level beyond that point.
So yeah. If Krillin had waited a few minutes (or was it hours?) before fighting Recoome, he'd have made mincemeat of the entire Ginyu Force bar the cap'n

What do you guys think of this article??
I personally, disagree with Goku and Gohan being listed as bad role models. I think out of the two, Gohan is the better role model.

Well, I'll give Krillin this.
Charging Broly took some balls. The fact that he's still alive after that says enough about him.
Krillin wasn't originally part of this; I was trying to give Yamcha some cred, and somebody mentioned that Yamcha didn't beat Goku while Krillin did, then I spun it into "Yamcha did this, Krillin did that".
