Question.
Is Super supposed to be "canon?" Because it seems to rehash the movies that Toriyama was responsible for. Also it has Goku and Beerus destroying galaxies with punches or whatever, which is the part that interests me because it hurts my belief in SSJ 4 Gogeta being the strongest Dragonball character ever. I could maybe be down with this Whis guy being stronger but another Goku? I can't tolerate that.
Does Gohan's potential have a cap?Old Kai implied that the "Mystic form" was the cap,but later on,it was revealed to be kinda false.
They were producing shockwaves capable of destroying planets far away and leaving the Earth untouched ,and hyped to destroy the Universe if allowed to continue,I think?
Personal thoughts on it were that it's Dragonball's attempt at showing "We're still top tier here, even after 20 years!",which was kinda unnecessary.

Just look at this nasty-ass mofo.
Poor ol' Goten has to deal with that.

Dabura was stronger than Cell, meanwhile Gohan got weaker and couldn't go Super Sayian 2 without getting angry. So I say he couldn't do it without getting angry. As a Super Sayian 2 he would win, since I really doubt he was weaker than Super Sayian 1 pre-Majin Vegeta.
The correct ones may also be on fire, depending on the whims of the dragon. If a dragon asks, "Are you about to be on fire?" there is only one right answer.
The manga is canon to the manga, the anime is canon to the anime, and GT is canon to nothing and never will be.
Functionally, the movies serve as rough drafts to Super, which is obnoxious on account of them being better than Super's version - at least in the case of Battle of Gods, I haven't seen the ROF arc or movie to compare.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I noticed some opposite-ness in the two new movies.
In Battle of Gods, Shenron has a more humorous side, as his interaction with Beerus shows. In Resurrection F, he's back to his awe-inspiring and mystical self. Why is that?
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!@Last Page: Huh. Could've sworn those scenes were the other way around. If they were, I would be right. As it is, it's still debatable (though I still think the right answer's obvious).
I have really liked Super thus far. Ironically, the in-between filler episodes have been LEAGUES better than the plot-heavy ones.
Yeah, but it doesn't even take a wish to revive him. God can do it in his spare time. He's more of a utility than a person.
Unless Beerus annihilates the entire planet and everyone on it on a whim, anyway.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.You know, in the light of Super Dragon Balls, the Namekian ones make very little sense. From what was explained Super dragon balls simply act as a beacon to call the Dragon God who created them, so how does having a small piece of them allow Namekians to create a completely different wish granting dragons? How do they even make new ones? It doesn't make sense.
I guess it all depends on whether the Dragon of the Super Dragon Balls is Shenlong, Porunga, or something completely different.
The Dragon Ball Super manga isn't canon to anything. It's promotional material. Hence why it just skips out things if the anime covered it already. But the anime tries to be canon to the anime. Because Toei inexplicably LIKES all the DBZ filler. I guess because they were the ones who made it.

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Toriyama is credited with the original concept and characters. Basically, he's credited with the ideas for the new stuff. The IDEAS. He's not there on the production team, watching every episode of the movie retellings.
I think the most likely scenario is he wrote an outline, and Toei is given pretty much free reign from there. And they'd go back and ask him for clarification on certain things if needed.
Until we get confirmation from him, we don't know for sure.
But everything with Bulma and Jaco in the recent Super episodes has 'Toei' written all over it. She uses him as a punching bag, just like she does with Oolong in DBZ filler.

Which is partly why I don't like it.
It's kind of like having cookies for every meal. They're good as supplements to food on occasion, but they're not good substitutes for actual food.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else

I have no positive or negative feelings towards Revival of F whatsoever.
Ok guys, let's get into the next pointless power level debate that will go on for pages before Saiga points out incorrect statements.
Could Gohan have beaten Dabura at that point in time.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
