I totally think it's unintentional, but I like it. Yamcha's track record is so shitty it becomes hilarious, if things were less cruel to him, then he'd just be an underutilized character who doesn't stand out much.

It's a good thing that he was screwed hard enough that there's something to enjoy from his continued presence.

True, otherwise he'd just be Chaotzu, the true weakest Z Fighter but nobody even bothers to remember him.

He's so awful, Toriyama never even saw fit to redesign or age him.

Wow.

I hate to be that guy, but I sure do love beating the same dead horse over and over and over again.

Truth is, this is kinda funny, but what does it offer beyond the same old same old again and again and again.

I get it! Yamcha sucks! I sick of hearing it everyday.

Sorry. I don't even know why this angers me. Truth is, I don't like Yamcha that much anymore (I mostly liked him due to misuderstandings about him from the dub and the anime, like the Ginyu fight filler).

Maybe it's because everyone just embraces it so wholeheartedly. It's like I've said before: literally everyone is doing it now (abridged is leading the charge as always).

It's just the same old shit.

We apologize for this Debbie Downer moment, You may now return to your regular Yamcha bashing.

[up]I think I'm the same way. I don't particularly like Yamcha but it's sort of hard to find this stuff funny after being bashed over the head with it every time he's mentioned.

I get why people find it funny, but it's one of those things that's just sort of run its course to me. But I'm in the minority with that opinion.

Damn, Shulgo stole what I wanted to copy-pasta.

Damn...that whole thing was hilarious to read, bravo. Yamcha may not be the best, but he's sure as hell the worst there ever was and ever will be.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.

Except Chaotzu.

[up][up][up] and [up][up] I agree. Yamcha is hardly a favorite but the shitting on him gets so tiresome and hackneyed that I want to defend him on principle.

Saiga's right though, without all the shit getting tossed on him I'd be as indifferent towards him as I am Tenshinhan or Chaotzu or Yajirobe.

I don't deny it, I just don't like people making that moment out to be more than it was or going "Tien should totally be able to keep up with Goku and Vegeta with all his training!" or other such nonsense.

[up]But you're right about that.

that makes him significantly stronger than his final recorded power in the Frieza arc and instead puts him somewhere in the ballpark of the Cell Saga.

exactly as strong as initial ROSAT Vegeta.

Those are... significantly higher than I predicted. Thanks.

Oh, and the future stranger is Bulma and Vegeta's badass robot fighting son, and thus the whole fate of two worlds depended on Vegeta and Bulma's amazing sweaty unprotected lovemaking. Nothing has ever depended on you or ever will.

Tien does more than you when he holds off the bugman. You just do nothing. Krillin gets a robot girlfriend who barely ages. You get nothing.

A tournament comes around again and the gang is getting together for old time's sake. Even Krillin is going to enter. Good ol' Krillin. Always there for the team. Always in the fight, even when he's outclassed.

You stay in the stands with Krillin's daughter to babysit her. Your ex-girlfriend cheers on her husband and their son, who wins the junior division. You have no son.

-long whistle-

For what it is though, whenever it comes up, people have a tended to go into Fan Hater mode.

So now that we've mentioned Yamcha, what's next on the rotation block? Power levels? Gohan? Vegeta? Goku being a bad dad?

[up][up] I think Goku's power level is directly proportional to how bad of a dad he is to Gohan. Notice he obtained SSJ 3 when he abandoned him to stay dead.

Oh and Vegeta.

Gohan's power level makes him a bad surrogate dad to Goku and Vegeta.
