Jiya's the title character of a story everyone thought Jaco The Galactic Patrolman was going to be a sequel to, until it ended up being a Stealth Prequel to Dragon Ball instead.
Jiya's a body jacking bug who loves Earth and uses a giant robot to complete missions for the Galactic Patrol(but since he's a bug his "giant" robot is roughly human sized). When he hears slanderous lies about how Earth isn't worth saving he goes to the planet himself and takes over human bodies to prove the galactic king should prevent it from being destroyed by an asteroid. And uses his robot to beat up a vampire body jacked by a rogue patrolman who commands giant fleas(as in fleas bigger than humans) in a bid to end all life on Earth. It'd be cool if Jiya ended up being an even more distant prequel to Dragon Ball.

Buldogue's lawyerAnd this week in Super, I'm left wondering if the Resurrection 'F' arc can do a competent fight scene at all. Even Toei seems to realise this problem. Given the fact that they seem to be spending more time on the side-character interactions than on the actual fighting itself.
Super is really weird right now.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Which is a shame, because I didn't even like the fights in Resurrection 'F' that much. They felt kind of same-y. It was just sort of "punch and kick a bit, and then someone throws the other into the ground, rinse repeat".
So far, Super has not been improving on that.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! They know Dragon Ball will sell anyway. They don't give a crap.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI do have to admit, that is what I expect an incredibly drunk Cell to do come Christmas.
Which is yet more evidence that Cell should've been 'reformed' like Vegeta was. He does have the most awesome English VA in the series.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariHell, Cell was like, four years old at most. He'd probably be much easier to reform than Vegeta, from a psychological standpoint anyway. Cell's problems were that his powers made it significantly more difficult to leave him in a beaten but not dead state that needs three months to recover and circumstances didn't grant him a significantly more powerful enemy that necessitated an alliance with his former enemies, ala Piccolo and Vegeta. Cell was that enemy for the rest of the androids...who really weren't that bad anyway. The android and Buu arcs ended up sparing the antagonists who had the most morals, unlike the saiyan saga. If they had followed the saiyan arc's lead, Cell and Super Buu, the whose positive qualities were not being quite as evil as Dr. Gero/Bibidi's ala Vegeta not being quite as evil as Freeza.
Buldogue's lawyerHow old Cell was chronologically doesn't matter. He was, for a lack of a better word in the "adult" stage of his life, with all that implies. Claiming he's a child is as ridiculous as calling Piccolo a child. And yes, Piccolo reformed, but it had nothing to do with him aging or anyone trying to "show him the light" or anything like that.
Nah, Cell was older than dat. 4 years is how long he spent in the past-present...he was there one year before that 3 year training session. Unless you think his conscious mind reset when he regressed down to fit in the time machine.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Any job that gives you an excuse to shout "BEAT IT!" is a good job.
While that's true, it doesn't change the fact that Dameon Clarke is still clearly having the most fun with his role of the voice actor cast.
I seriously think that if you put him and Crispin Freeman in the same game, you'd have an explosion of ham the likes of which has never been seen.
In fact, I would totally have a game where the protagonists are an expy of Crispin Freeman Zetta and Dameon Clarke Cell and they do Mundane Made Awesome things.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariConsidering how Norio Wakamoto supposedly practiced by scaring kids coming to his house asking him to be cell, he probably enjoys his job just as much (though he enjoys his job as a VA all the time anyway.)
Watch Symphogear
Guy's great, don't get me wrong, but I still think Dameon's better. Norio Wakamoto's voice is badass, but doesn't have the level of smug sonofabitchness that Dameon Clarke pulls off with Cell.

I haven't been watching Super, but I saw a clip of Krillin having flashbacks and Frieza sending his mooks after Krillin specifically, and. Like.
...I dunno, I actually kinda like it?
One thing I like is character focus, and dealing with Krillin's trauma like that is interesting.
...I'm not sure what I think about this but it is an interesting difference.
Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was great and I will hear nothing bad about it.
