Tell that to Zarbon, or Vegeta, or Raditz, or Freezer, or Goku, for that matter. Or better yet, to Gohan. More powerful guys don't always win.
And given how much you all reference filler I think not reading this thread is the only way I'm ever going to finish another reading of the manga. You're always tempting me to skip around to find out just what filler you're talking about or if I actually missed something.
Having seen the extended cut of Battle Of Gods though, I can safely say that kid Mai was more interested in looking at the nighttime sky before Trunks elbowed her to get her attention. I still think she's pretending. Beerus's English voice has finally grown on me, though. I've even gotten used to effeminate Whis...who doesn't even sound effeminate to me any more. Can't even remember why I thought that way.
Buldogue's lawyerLate, but Super Buu is really smart. He talks like the Hulk and he doesn't initially understand certain human concepts like an hour, but he played everyone for a fool the whole time, and is extremely adaptive and quick to learn. He also has very potent calculative ability given how quickly he determines the length of an hour, or how many people are still alive on Earth.
If only they had Frieza explain to him how long an hour is, then Goten and Trunks would have had a few centuries to prepare themselves.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Except upon figuring out how long an hour was, Buu decided he didn't want to wait that long.
Because impatient.
EDIT: Does Beerus have any evil in his heart?
Could he be killed by the Devilmite Beam?
What about Whis?
EDIT: What if there was a version of One Punch Man starring Spike The Devilman?

Beerus, probably, Whis, maybe but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't. If the beam could actually hurt him thought it wouldn't hit him because he's trained his body to react to danger at all times.
As for one punch...no. One Punch Man works because it's protagonist's awesome power is a regular punch attained from daily push ups, sit ups, pull ups and a run. Giving him wings and spiral laser blasts would completely miss the point.

Buldogue's lawyerBut Vegetable's dead body was there and able to move....Tien's possibly dead corpse wasn't optionable.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. How to make a good Dragon Ball anime:
Look at One Punch Man.
Now make something just as over the top as it, except without an invincible protagonist.
'kthxbye.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariDragon Ball is very different to One-Punch Man, though. And I'm just hoping the tournament will be fun.
I mean...I've been watching other shonen, and the idea of seeing the DB cast face off against characters with new and unique abilities sounds so great! As long as they don't resort to the constant one-upping and Power Levels. Just...I want them to be creative.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Regarding Buu never absorbing Super Saiyan 3 Goku: Goku was never a threat to Buu.
He had enough power to destroy Pure Buu but only if he could charge up his ki to full, and Buu wasn't giving him the time to do that. Buu's relentless assault kept Goku from being able to get as much out of his transformation as he might have, so he never quite hit that point where Buu would even be in danger at all.
Vegeta tried to stall for Goku to charge up to that point, but the power drain of Super Saiyan 3 counteracted it and drained every ounce of his power, kicking him back out into base. There is no point during the fight where Goku actually has the ability to destroy Majin Buu, and thus no reason for Buu to absorb him.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Dragon Ball isn't One Punch Man and One Punch Man isn't Dragon Ball, but that doesn't change the fact that a lot more love and dedication went into One Punch Man's anime than what ever went into Dragon Ball.

I would like to see a weaker opponent triumph due to superior tactics, but DB's done that what, once? Vegeta vs. Monster Zarbon?
