Just because they can't use the exact same techniques the good guys use doesn't mean they can't use techniques like those. Freeza had his own version of the Kienzan.
It's literally too good of an idea to only have been Krillin's.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI don't think Buu cells could be integrated into Cell.
A) because he likely doesn't have cells to begin with, and B) because even if he did, they would just engulf the Cell fetus. Dabura's cells would probably result in a much stronger Cell with paralyzing spit, but overall nothing the heroes couldn't handle by that point in the story.
Now, if Beerus and Whis's cells are compatible, that's an issue.
Regarding Krillin "defending" his wife: If the threat was so powerful that 18 couldn't handle it on her own, then yes, Krillin might as well step in; not to protect her, but to be a distraction while she escapes. Like he did with Super Buu, just hopefully more effective.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
Works for me. If the enemy is specifically after her, even if he died in seconds, those few seconds might be enough for her to get out of sight, and since Androids have no Ki, that makes it very easy for her to disappear.
Plus, Namekian Dragonballs son! Krillin has died a million times (well, okay, 3, four if we count Gt) and I have little doubt he'd die a million more if it lent a tiny bit of help to his wife.
I mean, yeah, she's stronger than him, and I get that a lot of people don't like the idea that she needs to be saved by him ever, but I hate the idea of him becoming a Distressed Dude even more.
I think I hate the Damsel Trope itself, cause it's caused a lot of trouble to be honest, especially when it happens to someone who shouldn't need to be saved, which tends to be a female character.

One Strip! One Strip!Hm, so according to the spoilers: Saiyans exist in Universe 6 as well, since Champa wants some on his team since Goku and Vegeta are on Beerus's.
My Megaman and MegaTen RPG LiveblogsSo does that mean they never ran into Frieza, or maybe even managed to defeat him?
Gine will be one of the fighters
Yeah, I know it ain't happening, but a man can dream right?
One Strip! One Strip!Well, it begs the question as to whether there's a Freeza in Universe 6 in the first place.
Gine wouldn't be a fighter, because she isn't a fighter. Unless we are doing the 'Universe 6 is Opposite World' thing. Is there a trope for that? I'm sure there's a trope for that, I just can't remember its name.
The good news is we can get things like, say, female Saiyans. And maybe they can give a reason as to why Saiyans seem to have a neverending supply of transformations. The bad news is we could get Alternate!Goku and Vegeta. And...god, that sounds like bad fanfiction.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! It's been a long day at Bird Studios, and Toriyama is busy going through old design and story documents seeking inspiration. Then one catches his eye: "Hm," he says, "this 'Broly' character looks strong..."
My Megaman and MegaTen RPG Liveblogs
That was my first reaction, as well. I've calmed down a bit since then.
...I think.

Wait, when the hell was Mutchy in this game!?
Does Gine exist in the Super timeline? Dragonball Minus is relevant here?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Exactly.
She was a member of Bardock's squad for at least one mission.
And, I mean. She fought.
The exact words were "she fought on a four-person team together with Bardock."
I'm pretty sure "she fought" is part of that sentence.
To me that indicates she's punched at least one person.
Or tried to.
To me it's worth noting that nothing is said anywhere about her actual battle power.

I wonder whether the Saiyans were trained at all.
Like, from what I can tell they were assigned based on scouter readings and not much else.
No psych evals or anything.
They probably read her power level and shoved her in a pod.
...And, frankly, odds are she probably got a few zenkais out of it. So. There's that.
What if Vegeta's dad was a hippy.
...Dragon Ball Super keeps going from the worst show to the best show.

Well, that makes me feel a bit better about her as a character thinking like that. (Though DBM as a whole is still groanworthy.)
That same interview did say she was repeatedly saved by Bardock, but on the other hand, we don't know the circumstances behind that. Toriyama probably intended it in a "damsel" way, but I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she was just less accepting about attacking innocents than the others, but the society the others were attacking didn't know or care about that, and the locals kept going after her in preemptive self-defense just like they undoubtedly fought back against the other Saiyans.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — Ultimatepheer
He was so weak, they could literally grow Raditzes.
I think I read somewhere that the average Saiyan citizen is in the 600-800 range.
Keep in mind that even 200 is more than enough to raze a small country to the ground without breaking a sweat.

"That's my BULMAAAAAA" with the Vegeta Super Saiyan theme is solid gold.
