There are so many female Brolys out there no buffer than Bulma. What's so wrong about buff as shit women? Why can't my female OC's in Xenoverse have just as much, or more, muscle mass as Goku?

Gohan killing Cell: Kai vs Funimation

[up]Have you ever seen a really buff woman? I'm not talking realistic proportions, I mean, the wish fulfillment, Herculean, Hulk-esque uberwomen? It's not visually appealing.

Though Mikasa Ackerman is one of the few women of anime I can recall having visible muscle, and maybe some from Black Lagoon.

I just don't see a problem with at least including the same muscle outlines male characters get on a female character. The rectangle-shaped bicep outlines even Krillin gets and such.

If they're only going to have one body type, I have to say the one they used is probably going to be more well received.

If it had more depth to the customization I would absolutely expect more muscular options.

So I've been thinking more about the idea that I had that I briefly mentioned a while back, that Frieza would remain the strongest villain in terms of raw power but the subsequent villains would be more dangerous due to additional gimmicks - the Androids' infinite stamina, Cell's regeneration, Buu's... general impossible-to-kill-ness. I'm curious as to what people think because honestly the more I think about it the less I think it would work. tongue

Buu and Cell at least make sense to be stronger than Freeza. The lowest you could have the Androids and still keep them a threat would be around Freeza's level.

I think it's an unnecessary idea that creates a bunch of problems and has no positive benefit. Not trying to be mean, but I don't see any reason for Freeza to be the strongest villain.

Basically the only consistent theme is "getting stronger". Capping off the villains' strength with two arcs and a bunch of EU material to go would really undermine that.

And then Beerus. He just wouldn't work as inferior to Freeza.

I just can't wrap my head around the problem people have with Freeza being surpassed. He's no different from anyone else. He was the strongest in the universe, yes, but not for any reason that makes it possible for only him to hold that position. He was, just because. So I don't see any reason to perverse such a tenuous position for him.

The problem people have is not so much that things stronger than him exist but, more specifically, that some random scientist can build things stronger than him in his basement. I myself like the Androids but can definitely see why that would be considered odd.

Then again Frieza's own strength is apparently the result of an extremely rare and random mutation and the rest of his race is far weaker.

It helps when you remember that the smartest geniuses Earth has are LEAGUES ahead of the smartest geniuses anywhere else has. Bulma built a Time Machine; something previously thought impossible by the God of Time.

That just makes that one particular guy a really badass scientist.

He created cyborgs stronger than Frieza based off data he gathered from watching people in Frieza's ballpark, and then he got Dangerously Genre-Savvy and decided to overshoot that three to four times over. Glass half full, that's just the kind of Badass Grandpa Gero was.

Still not seeing a problem. A scientist being able to build things that are better than some random alien from an unknown race just giving birth to the most powerful thing in the universe?

Yeah, I'm really not liking my idea anymore. For one it'd basically turn all the fight scenes into attrition conests which I think would get boring fast. Sorry for bugging you guys with this.

Not giving 17 and 18 Ki sensors actually had a purpose though: it was so they couldn't sense Cell coming.

Cell was pretty good at hiding his power though. Even the ones who could sense energy couldn't feel him even when he was right there when he was hiding.

Only the mechanical types showed the ability to sense energy, anyway. The problem with these whole "lol look at this plothole" is they don't even go far enough to think about stuff like that.
